Does your store not get Previews?

I can tell them about a comic a year in advance, and they still won't get it, or get like 2 and the guys that work there will get it for themselves.

Titles I pick up in trade/hardcover:

DMZ, Y:The Last Man, Invincible, Mouse Guard, and stuff I'm forgetting.

Also, I forgot to add KOTOR and Walking Dead, gotz to have that.

And all those upcoming Dynamite comics, delicious.

EDIT: For the record, I actually prefer to read DMZ and Y in trade form.

Yeah, Northlanders should kick some serious ass. I think the trades for Fell and Casanova are out now. And the first few issues of Fell have gone through about 6 or 7 printings, so if you prefer issues, they shouldn't be hard to find.

I have the first 4, but my store played a part in me stopping. I'll probably go to some other store this weekend and spend all of my paycheck on back issues.

I also didn't list titles I don't have on my pull like both Bendis Avengers titles, mostly because I know there will always be a **** load of copies, and Buffy.

Then of course, there's always Ebay which is good for saving huge on full runs of books.

I'm going to start a line of comics specifically geared at emo kids. It will be the best comic they ever read, and come with complimentary razor blades. It will be 12 issues and at issue #11 it will hit the peak of emoness, #12 is widely believed to be the most emo thing ever, but they will be hit with this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wfwxYK0n4LM in comic book form. It would be worth the thousands of dollars I lose.
