The Official Pull List Discussion thread

In its defense, I don't know the first thing about it; other than it's a 50SI team. It just didn't look all that interesting on the shelf. I know it's all kinds of popular around here though.

But you've never bothered to ready any posts about why it's popular around here?

Updated my list with my local shop...

So, post-"Messiah Complex" it's time to reevalute the ole X-books.

Pre-"Endangered Species/Messiah Complex" I bought:

Astonishing X-Men
New X-Men
Uncanny X-Men

I added X-Men and X-Factor for the duration of ES/MC, plus the Emperor Vulcan miniseries that ends next week.

I know I'll be sticking with Astonishing (it seldom comes out, so it's easy to keep buying) and Uncanny; New is over, and I like the look of X-Force, so I'll buy that; I'll put X-Men: Legacy and X-Factor on provisionally; I tried the latter pre-ES, and dropped it after a few issues (wasn't my thing), but I'm interested to see what happens with Layla, and I like Darwin, who's joining the cast. From what I've seen of Young X-Men so far, it doesn't much interest me, and I'll probably skip Cable as well. So that leaves me with:

Astonishing
Legacy
Uncanny
X-Factor
X-Force

Oh, and I'm dropping Teen Titans, so the new list looks like:

Astonishing X-Men
Booster Gold
Captain America
Captain Marvel (3 issues to go)
Checkmate
Fables
Fantastic Four (Millar/Hitch)
Gargoyles
Green Lantern
The Incredible Hercules
Justice Society of America
Mighty Avengers
Ms. Marvel
Northlanders
Runaways (2 issues to go)
Thor
Uncanny X-Men
Wonder Woman
X-Factor
X-Force
X-Men: Legacy
X-Men: Emperor Vulcan (1 to go)
Young Avengers Presents

The only marvel title I'm buying now is Amazing Spider-Man.

Me too. I dropped the rest of them in disgust over the cancelation of Heroes For Hire.

The stories are still pretty good, which makes the crappy art even more painful. :(

Eh, it's basically a labour of love, and doesn't sell well, so I'm just glad to get any story advancement.

Also, make with the goddamn second season part two DVDs already.

Buy another couple of copies of the first part. Apparently, that sold poorly, which is why no second part has been released.

Yep. It's significantly longer than season 1. I think season 2 is something like 40 episodes or more.
