I am SO dropping Gen 13. Maybe I had extremely high expectations but I think a lot of it has to do with Talent Caldwell's artwork. He makes all the women look...odd. At least their faces look odd.

I'm surprised anyone even bought that rag to begin with. When Worldstorm was announced, I was like, "Gen 13? Why?"

It appealed to me because Gail Simone was writing it and she's a pretty solid writer. I gave the entire first arc a chance but it's just not working out. So, it's gone. I still need to drop a few books to make room for the onslaught of new stuff I'll be getting.

Though I think 52 ends before Countdown starts so I should be solid with that.

Flash and Superman is now dropped. Ultimate Spidey is goin' bye-bye once Bags is off. I'm not gonna finish Hypervelocity as that book just plain sucks. I'm also gonna strongly consider future minis with price tags of $3.99. I don't wanna send a message to Marvel that people will pay that much fer regular issues. If comics DO ever get that high, I'm droppin' almost everything from my list.

I'm behind on my Gen 13 but once I read the last few issues I got I'll decide it's fate. I picked this up because Simone's a decent writer an' I saw them plastered everywhere back in the 90s so was like what the hell.

I have no idea what's going on....the JLA Year One reboot was not a new reader friendly jump on point ....

I don't read Ultimate X-men, but yeah Ultimate Spider-Man and Immortal Iron Fist are great reads. I don't have a long pull list either. But i'm considering dropping PWJ and Ultimate FF.

I was considering Countdown,but I don't want to be tied down by a monthly.Gotta free up some trades money.

It's only a mini, but I guess you could count Fallen Son: Death of Captain America as one of the comics on my list.
