Ok changed to this:

Captain America
Invincible Iron Man
Wolverine
Amazing Spider-Man
Sensational Spider-Man
Ultimate X-men
Cable & Deadpool
Civil War (forgot to mention in first post)
Civil war:frontline

Maybe: Ultimate Spider-Man & Marvel Team Up

-------
Why is spectacular no more? And why don't you recommend Cable & Deadpool...I love that series.

Add Daredevil, or at least check it out.

I just started picking up Daredevil 2 issues ago, it is a good time to check it out.

Spectacular is no more because thats usually what happens with Spider-mans second and third tier titles. One gets cancelled then a couple months later a new Spider-man title is released with a new #1, so they can start fresh. Amazing will keep going for a very long time though, and there will usually be a second and third title, whether it's Spectacular, Sensational, Web of, Peter Parker, or Marvel Knights.

YEah I was thinking to check it out, but I doubt I would add it, I don't want to spend SO much on comics, especially since I will be buying all the civil war tie-ins, including for series I don't colect.

Also why don't any of your recommend Cable and Deadpool?

Meh, its not my cup o tea, but people seem to like it, im not going to tell you not to buy it.

YEah, I just really enjoy deadpool's character. I would go sofar as to say if it was just "Deadpool" I would be a bit happier.

So I picked up Crisi Aftermath The Spectre 1 and 2 due to TheCorpulent1's nagging and I got to say, great series so far. Really enjoying it, especially being a big Crispus/Gotham central fan. Thanks Corp.

Hooray for me! :D

I hear Cable & Deadpool is good, but I read a few issues of it and Deadpool was surprisingly uninteresting. Maybe I was too spoiled by Kelly's Deadpool to appreciate a DP who's not constantly hilarious, but he seemed really, really bland in C&D. On top of which, the story (at the time I read it, mind you; it could've changed since) was basically Cable's through and through. Deadpool seemed to just be popping in for no reason.

52
Batman
Detective Comics
Action Comics
Superman
Legion of Superheroes
Uncanny X-Men
X-Men
Astonishing X-Men
JSA (Soon to be Justice Society of America)
Justice League of America
Daredevil
Green Lantern
Green Arrow
She-Hulk
Teen Titans
Wonder Woman

For the first time in a while, I'm happy with every book on my pull list. It's a great feeling. For the longest time I was getting books I wasn't happy with out of sheer loyalty.

Not especially. I love the character, just not a fan of what's going on in his books now. I do have a lot of JMS' early run in trade (Pre Sins Past) and I have all of Sins Past in singles. That's when I decided the Spider-Man books aren't for me, so I started getting trades of his old stuff, which is infinitely better anyways.

In your shoes? Well, lets see...

For DC I'd drop Checkmate, Nightwing (until Wolfman and Jurgens come on the title with # 125)

Marvel I'd drop Squadron Supreme, Ms. Marvel, X-Factor, and Fantastic Four.

Checkmate is like the best title DC is putting out. WHy is everybody telling me to drop it?

You're the one who asked peoples opinions of what you should drop. That's what I'd drop because I didn't like Checkmate.

Because apparently they're not reading it. It's pretty much inconceivable that they'd be telling you to drop it if they were.

Mmmmk.

You should've probably just listed the books you'd be willing to drop. That might've helped avoid a lot of confusion.

Nah, the point was to see what everyone thought. But im just surprised its like 6th person who told me to drop Checkmate.

Yeah, that would have been more helpful. Plus, about half the stuff you get I don't get, so I wouldn't know if it's good or bad. And there is a lot of stuff that I get that you don't get. So, basically it's just different tastes.

Yeah, I'd have told him to drop Daredevil if I didn't already know he was in such girlish puppy-love with him.

anyone that tells you to drop this book is crazy  it is for sure the best thing DC have done since OYL without a doubt

Why are you getting jealous?

Yes, because liking Daredevil is having bad tastes.
