is it just me or did some of the footage look like it was still in concept, its hard to see it

sorry if this has been talked about already, I must of missed it

the trailer they showed had a few unfinished FX

The footage shown at Comic-Con is NOT the Second Teaser Trailer...it was ONLY for Comic-Con and the people there.


However, my Spidey senses tell me that we'll be seeing a second trailer (with even more footage) with Casino Royale on November 17th. After all, SM3 and CR are both Sony Pictures' movies.

Is anyone else not a big fan of how Eddie transforms into Venom? He just falls down and it instantly covers him and makes him larger. No symbiote tendrils or anything like that.

it may not be exactly what they showed at comic con, but i think the 2nd trailer will be pretty much the same, just without concept art and better effects

Nooooo! That proves it won't be at Talledagea Nights or w/e. Darnit. I need an actual quality version. I can't see much, but it sounds good. :-/

As for the comment above: We will probably see it crawling up eddie like in the wallpaper then he screams or w/e, falls down and yeah... the rest from the trailer.

It's impossible to tell from that clip. It looks like he's already Venom before he falls over - he just goes on all fours and rushes the screen.

I posted a link on both the Venom and Comic-Con threads of a screen shot about 11 seconds into the trailer. It's the best Venom pic I've seen so far. I'm sure someone will get a better one up soon.

HEAR ME PEOPLE OF SHH!....The First Theatrical Trailer (out of two) will premiere infront of Casino Royale on November 17th. THEN...the 2nd Theatrical Trailer will premiere with Nic Cage's Ghost Rider on February 16th.
It is unkown whether a third trailer will come out between Feb. 17th and May 4th.

I took a few stills and made a collage.



Top left = An eye with a stream of liguid coming out?

Top right = A frame after the eye is a blue thing in the shape of a Hershys.

Top middle = I'm sorry I have to bring this up again but...Hydroman?

Bottom middle = Sandman. Not sure but I believe he is getting drowned by water. You can see his hand popping out in sand form and a liquidy type thing covers the bottom half of the screen.

Bottom = Nothing interesting just a wierd still of a person in a white suit i couldn't identify.
