The official "The Losers" movie thread.

I loved this film 8/10. It was fun and entertaining. The cast was great as well. Awesome soundtrack too.

Shame it was about ten million short for the window of "should we do a sequel"...

well maybe if it does well enough in video sales it could land a sequel. But who knows. IT was more of a one off type of film right? with of course potential to do sequels if they wanted to.

I'm just hoping it makes a profit....it desrves to, it really does.

Problem is, i'm obviously living outside the US, and there has been no advertising. like, none.

so what do they expect?

I hope so, because the ending not being resolved was a big peeve of mine, thoroughly enjoyed the movie other than that.

I'd love a sequel, thought it was awesome. Even with his handful of dialogue, Cougar's my favorite

A very entertaining film. Not a spectacular epic pure awesome super-film or anything, but nothing to be ashamed of. A Vertigo-revamped DC property that very few people know about made to a action film. And a fun one, with a good cast.

LOVED it! My only problem w/ it is Aisha and Max. Both were not intimidating and mysterious enough. Their presence was just their and not enough gravitas but her chemistry w/ the losers were good enough and the rest of the cast have great chemistry together as a team.

Max was a bit over-the-top but did good in the context of the film but sacrificed the mysterious menacing presence of the character shown in the comic series by showing his face.

Chris Evans as Jensen steals the show! Anyone else caught that unintentional cap. America reference at the very beginning? LOL!

As an adaptation, it's true to the spirit of the series and adapted several storyarcs and compressed into 1 film which feels a bit rushed at times but still really fun and entertaining as an action film!

great soundtrack!

Would LOVE to see a sequel! But due to poor B.O. performance i'm afraid its unlikely... :(

Its box office permormance is almost done unfortunately, cant see it making much more than it has, unless it does great international numbers or the DVD sells really well, we aint getting a sequel.

Warner Home Video has announced DVD and Blu-ray/DVD Combo releases of The Losers for the 20th July. The only extra on the DVD release will be a Zoe and The Losers featurette. The Blu-ray release will include that, along with 2 additional featurettes ("Band of Buddies: Ops Training", "The Losers: Action-Style Storytelling"), a deleted scene, a sneak peak at Batman: Under The Red Hood, and a digital copy of the film. We've attached our first look at the official package artwork below:

Anyone know where to find a "Go Petunias" T shirt like the one in the movie? lol.

Hhhhmmm, wonder when the BD/DVD is due in the UK, as the movie came out about a month later here.

probably be out a little later for you guys officially.

Wait. The Blu ray has more features that could have gone on the dvd?

**** that noise.

yea dvd/bluray features some times are a bit lopsided huh.

This isn't the flick to try and push blu-ray. Especially as it could have gotten a sequel with good enough sales (yes, I still sort of believe that).

Just saw it. Full of every action cliche/stereotype in the book....and I freakin loved every minute of it!

Such a blast, no-nonsense fun, digging every scene with Chris Evans too. Definitely seeing this again, now I need to hunt down the comic.

The end credits were pure :D:D.

The comic-book is the clever version of the movie.

well yea probably but heck at least it had a good break between a team coming out. Cause if it did keep it moved day in june it would have gone head to head with a team.

Really late but just saw this. It was okay. I didnt have a bad time watching it, but I will forget it. Didnt like the betrayal, Clay was boring, they pushed so hard for Aisha to be a bad ass but I just wasnt buying it
In a year that was had about 4 "Team on a mission" action movies this one didnt stand out at all. I liked it better than The Expendables, but I see myself remembering the Expendables longer

6.5/10
