I mostly listen to The Conspiracy Show with Richard Syrett every once a week and I generally agree with what he says. I recommend checking that out as well as No Agenda, which I listen to when I can.

American alligators have been known to reach lengths of 18 feet, and here in Florida it's warm enough for them to make nests in culverts and such that connect to the sewage systems. Instead, let me suggest The Skunk Ape, a local version of Sasquatch, reputed to leave behind a terrible smell, and referenced frequently in Piers Anthony's Shade of the Tree.
