I bought the second issue of the new series months ago, and I heard anything about the third issue. It's like the series just disappeared. Does anyone know what happened?

Damn. I forgot all about this series. I took forever catching up on all old trades & storylines, got prepped for the new series, bought the first 2 issues, and totally forgot it existed. Those delays are flying right under my radar.

Two whole issues is still better than he did with Wildcats.

Authority is officially on hiatus. Gene Ha wanted to work on JLA #11, apparently.

I don't think anybody knows what the hell happened to WildC.A.T.s.

It's really great that the two most important books that WildStorm is publishing right now are dead in the water. I'm sorry, but I can't subsist on Gen13 and Wetworks. If it wasn't for Deathblow and Midnighter, I don't know what I'd do. Although I still haven't quite figured out what the hell's going on with Deathblow.

What I love about wildcats is that to this date it has not been actually rebooted. The one issue of that comic Morrison could bother to write, took place before the stupid reboot actually happened. I don't even know what the hell that's about.

So, we got two issues by Morrison and Ha, far too many months apart, but for the first time since Millar left, The Authority was looking good again. Now it's on indefinite hiatus, with what is looking to be a really crappy mini-series filling the gap between now and whenever Ha and Morrison have time to get back to the book. Does this piss anybody else off? Wild Storm has some of the best titles around, but they seem to get shafted far more often than anybody else. Why is this?

Wait, isn't that mini being written by Gage? It won't be crappy.

Yeah, it won't be, especially cause Robertson is illustrating it, but the premise behind Morrison and Ha's story was so ****ing cool and just what The Authority needed after losing its edge that I still can't help but be disappointed. I'm also worried that when they do return, it might only be to write two more issues and then leave again.

Writing two issues and leaving again would be the funniest joke I've ever heard. Bring 'em back, I say!

Has anybody read the sneak peek for Prime? http://www.dccomics.com/comics/?cm=8195

I don't know what to think. On the one hand, them fighting an Elder God is pretty ****ing cool, but on the other, they kinda did that already back when Ellis was writing, and I feel like Ellis wrote it better. Robertson's pencils look off to me, and that makes me sad, cause he is one of my favorites. I'm still gonna pick it up when it hits the shelves, but I want Morrison and Ha back.:csad:

The premise was cool, but the issues were way to slow. It was probably over a year ago since I read it, but I distinctly remember nothing major happening until the very last page of the last issue where Midnighter ends up in Afghanistan.

Does DC have plans to bring it back? Could they do WildCATS first?

It's on hiatus, in the meantime they are running this Authority Prime until Morrison and Ha's schedules clear up.

Ha recently said he thinks it's never going to happen.

I think it's because Morrison hasn't even written the script for issue three yet. Same with with Wildcats #2.

Sounds like this whole Worldstorm thing is a huge, huge failure....

THAT DON'T MAKE NO SENSE!!!!

How so? He was busy with other projects that he only wrote the scripts for Authority 1 and 2 and Wildcats 1. I think Authority #3 will come out eventually, just with another writer....

Yeah, we've seen how well other writers have handled The Authority.:csad:

Why does everything Wildstorm besides Friday the 13th and Ex Machina get totally ****ed?

So, basically, Morrison can't write 9 books a month?

What a lazy ass.

Seriously though, get Morrison off of Batman, it isn't that good, put him on the Authority, hold off on WildCATS, then have him jump onto WildCATS once he's done with Final Crisis, and Lee's done with his ASB&R run.

There you go; a perfect plan of action.

Couldn't we just put someone else on WildCATS until he's ready for it?

No, because Lee doing WildCATS at the moment would just be ******ed. He's doing ASB&R right now, and if he took on another book, all that would happened would be BOTH ASB&R and WildCATS getting major delays left and right.

And no, you don't take Morrison AND Jim Lee - the creator of WildCATS - off of the title. That's too good of a team to pass up.
