The Official Wolverine Video Game Thread

Love the game so far, nearly done. Best Wolverine game and easily best movie game ever. Some things I do hate:

some of the hoaky acting like Anna and some of the in game cut scenes aren't good at all
Will.i.am is Nightcrawler's daddy
logan's shirt regrows. I love how your body gets destroyed and regenerates and so your shirt gets destroyed which is awesome but then it is magically back.

The shirt only comes back when you level up; so you can promptly see it get ripped up again.

Anyway, finished it last night and aside from a few bugs, it was pretty good. The Gambit fight felt like the real climax to the game; the following fight with creed and wade were anti-climactic in comparison.

Dont know what to make of this, but the article says the game influenced the Script and characters thrown in to the movie.

The impact of the game on the movie, according to Vondrak, went as far as determining which personalities were included and which weren't. "When we saw the trailers for the film there were certain characters – and I won't name names — that we think we're responsible for that dude getting in the game and getting in the movie," he said. "It's pretty cool to see these influences from game to film, although no one (from Fox) will admit that."

My guess is its Gambit they are talking about.

How is this revealed, if I may ask?

You infiltrate a secret Sentental lab out in the southwest to find Wraith, who has gone missing. Along the way, you come across Mystique, who was present in the last mission in Africa. Wraith was ordered to murder he so she wouldn't get in the way, but he decided to lie to stryker and let her live. They fell in love and she's in the facility trying to break him out.

Once you get him out out, he mentions Mystique is carrying his son and right before he teleports her away, he asks what she thinks of the name Kurt.

I thought that was actually clever on Raven's part. It works well for the Movieverse to have the daddy be another Teleporter and Mystique as a CIA agent having connections with Team X.

finished it yesterday and I was really surprised at how good it was, even though I was expecting it to be good!
I just can't figure out how I'm missing 9 dog tags!
Also I'll help you out with the WoW trophy...
Right before you see agent zero in alkali lake (I think) and see yourself through his cross hairs of his sniper, he talks to you through your earpiece. Wolverine comment to himself about this. Almost immediately after keep looking for a fallen down log on the right that leads upwards into a secret area. Follow that, and there'll be a skeleton and a sword. And there you go! Hope that helps

dang.. i just saw a really cool review on G4 x-play yesterday.. WOW... ive got to go get this.. wish there was an option to wear the weapon x outfit from the comics when he was on missions with Creed & Maverick... or even stay in loin cloth just after the weapon x experiment savagely rampant in the woods lol
