title says it all. i really did like that new take on the spidey suit.

I absolutley loved the suit from TASM, but it was made for the first movie only, because technically thats before he offically became Spider-man. It really was nice though, but the new suit, whew!!! Don't get me started, It is perfect and retains a lot, and imo more of TASM suit than the Raimi suit

My personal favorite pics of the suit

I thought they really did a good job on the top half. The bottom region looks too busy, but it got the job done.

I didn't have a massive problem with the previous suit like others, I quite liked it. But yeah, the new one is pretty much perfect.

the suit wasnt bad but this one for tasm 2 is the buisness they nailed it n i hope its never changed again in the series

My answer is similar to most. I didn't have a problem with the first suit. Mayer of fact m, I really liked it. Had that cool, new edge feel that matches the series. When I got a good look at this new TASM2 suit, I embraced the classic iconography it has. :woot:

I liked the suit that was used in The Amazing Spider-Man. It was something different from what we had seen in the Raimi series and I thought that it fit the look and feel of the film. I'm glad they've gone back to the more iconic suit for the sequel, though. I know that there were definitely a lot of people, both Spidey fans and casual moviegoers alike, who disliked the suit in the first film.

The only thing I like better on the new suit is the eyes. I loved the TASM suit.

I loved the previous suit, but the TASM2 costume is better

It was cool suit looked more advance than original .

I guess we may get to see him change suits after suits in upcoming sequels as it boosts merchandise .

I absolutely could not stand TASM suit. However, they have redeemed themselves with TASM2 and in fact I might go as far to say, they knocked it out of the ball park...

Is that the right terminology? I'm working on my Americanisms for when I go to Manhattan for the NYCC in October. :)

I like the new suit more but the original TASM is really cool for a prototype suit, anyway when is the best time to go to New York in fall/winter?

i liked TASM costume also, but i'm willing to accept the new suit as the next step to becoming spider-man

i'd like to see TASM suit maybe in peters closet as an easter egg

I like the transition. Over the next 2 movies I'm all for changing the costume each time. Maybe next movie adding a utility belt with Spider-Tracers. Putting a Spider-Light on the centre of his belt and so on.

The trailer held back, a lot. They're saving the big scenes this time around. Nothing really revealing about the villain.

I like how the TASM suit looked more realistic and designed for function, while the TASM suit looks like they're trying to get a literal translation of the comic suit, which is nice too.

I wish we could've got a stronger mix of both.

If it wasn't for the TASM suit, I would have LOVED the TASM2 no problem. But, IMO, the TASM suit gave some nice alterations to the classic suit. It looked sleeker also.

But the more I see of the new suit, the more I like it. But I do prefer the TASM suit.

The best representation I've ever seen of the suit is still the 90's series Spider-Man. If they can ever find a way to replicate that exactly, it'll be the perfect costume.

Dude that'd be right. Or the old web shooters on the desk if we see him working on the new ones.

 Yup. I can't wait to see that TS scene. Marc said to look out for it. It may be the best action scene he may have directed yet.

That's exactly what their goals looked liked for each suit. I like both, but the tasm2 suit wins by at least a mile.

I just want footage of the Rhino for 3 seconds so I can make an avatar. That's it!

I understand that the reasoning of TASM's suit was to be "cheap" (not in movie budget sense), as Peter Parker would do it buying spandex on the Internet. TASM 2 is a more refined look, as his role of Spider-Man. It keeps a lot of TASM design, and improves over it, but using also the original as base.

It's very close, if not completely, to perfection, as Spidey's suits go.
