Sorry missed all the chat and responses in the closed thread. On the Mitrovic sending off I thought it was a red even if it was too fast to be 100% intentional/premeditated. The reputation he's made for himself is the only clue to how much intention was in the challenge and I think it was a case of leaving his foot in a little longer/pulling out a little slower than a player who had no malice would have done. Enough for a red for me in a dangerous situation like that. A guy with a rep needs to avoid doing things that might result in an early red when they move to a new club. Hopefully he now has the wake up call to sort himself out.

Man United started off brilliantly but for some reason they didn't continue with that high tempo. You can't win if you're playing with walking-tempo. Very even first half that could have been 1-0 to Man United or 1-0 to Swansea, but 0-0 feels fair. Let's hope for an even better second half.

MY problem with this argument is that you were big on him being enough of an addition, when I said we can't expect him to fly from the start.

So now being enthusiastic about a player implies I meant he was going to be brilliant every game

I think he's a good prospect, I never said I expect him to carry United's attack and score or assist in every game.
