Horror The Original Monster: Ed Gein | Netflix/Ryan Murphy/Charlie Hunnam

I get the frustration from the families, but it can't take away from such a brilliant performance. :(

Yeah Evan Peters did a great job, but I can't really say anything about the families. I can't imagine what it must be like seeing your tragedy being turned into entertainment.

I finally watched this drama series and I must say...while this is a very good series but it is very much disturbing that left me with uneasy feeling afterwards. I doubt that I ever rewatch this drama again. Haha. This is not something you watch to lift your mood or spirit.

And...is it accurate that the 2 cops who let that Laotian teenage back into Jeff's apartment didn't get any punishment whatsoever? And just that...they are free and get praised like that? And they had no remorse of what they did???
How unsettling!!

Their incompetence to not check inside the apartment really reminds me of one of Japan's gruesome case in the 80s involving a teenage high school girl who was kidnapped, raped and brutally beaten up for months by 4 teenage boys...same with that Laotian boy, the girl's life could had been saved if not for that incompetence cop, who never check nor look inside the room that confined her for months.

It really left a bad taste in my heart...really.

The cops were fired after it all came out but the union got them back in I believe. If this had happened now not only would they have been permanently fired, they would be facing wrongful death charges if not actually landing in jail.

Seeing this thread bumped makes me want to start a rewatch. Knowing I have a million things to do.

A shame...
They should get more severe punishment for their neglectance.

I'm not familiar with this case although "The Menendez Brothers" does ring a bell. Looking up the details, I think Murphy took the criticism about glorifying Dahmer and how the victims' families felt seriously since in this situation the victims were "all in the family", so to speak.

Either way, this seems more suited for American Crime Story than Monster.

I'll watch anything Ryan Murphy makes. :)

I can't wait for the movie theater sneak-out scene.

So because of the strike, who knows when this will air? :(

Yeeeeah Nicholas Chavez is never coming back to General Hospital after this. He’s about to blow up lol.

I'm so ready for this. The cast is amazing!
