I just figured out how to make a perfect Hulk TV series, without the use of a CGI Hulk:
Get a cast of all midget actors. Then, when midget Bruce banner becomes the Hulk, have a seven-foot-tall monstrousity of a man painted in green appear. It's perfect.

Uh-huh. On a serious note, I actually did have a small idea about a new Hulk TV show that would be faithful to the comics. Set(to begin with at least) on the desert base. Then the Hulk thing happens and Banner covers his tracks for the 1st season but eventually has to go on the run when his secret gets out. It could have a kind of X-files type feel to it. We could eventually get the whole she-bang: Joe Fixit, Las Vegas enforcer days, Marlo Chandler(yum!), Doc Samson, the Professor, and maybe even the Pantheon. The could just call it "Incredible". Do for the Hulk kinda what Smallville did for Superman.

You remain take a dump on the mythos and focus on a pair or legs for 90 percent of the series?

Umm no, i want them to get the comics and start copying panel by panel what happens in the comics and translate it to the tv screen. Get a man in a suit and take it from there.

No, I meant translate the mythos to the screen. I meant an X-Files type feel to the series, nothing more. A panel by panel with this would never work(this ain't Sin City and not all adaptions should try to be). And I was basically projecting this for maybe 10-20 years from now when they can do Hulk CGI for TV every bit as well(or better) than the movies. It'll take that long for the SFX technology to be cheap/good enough that it's viable for the TV series. Man in a suit? I never want to see something like that again.

Comics don't translate to screen though. That's why every single cartton, TV series, or movie based on a comic has been altered in some way. Copying a comic panel by panel onto a screen would be career suicide for anyone involved in film or television.

Frank Miller: Excuse me, what?

He's saying you should watch Sin City.
