The phone booths of Metropolis

How about Lexitalk booths?

They could be some paid silent spots. Sort of like a phone booth, but you pay 1 dollar for 10 minutes. It is silent in there but gets good reception, so you can make a cell phone call on a busy street and be able to hear the person you are talking to.

Not that we want to see this be used in every scene, but the concept of them in metropolis would be sort of interesting, and sounds like a simple solution.

Have you seen the ones in major cities? They are fairly lavish. In Japan they would be the equivalent of a hotel room:cwink:

So they go to the bathroom in luxury suites yet they sleep in cubby holes. Those crazy Japanese! :funny:

....well I would not do that. It does not sound like something I would do.

Lex has spoken

Anyone here actually seen a scene in any live action version where Clark changes in a telephone booth?

I've never seen it and I used to watch the George Reeves television series.

I know it was the big joke about Supes changing in one but I've just never seen it. In the store room at the Planet yes... phone booth, no.
