ohmygawd!!! the dickwad who thinks linkin park is the best band ever is questioning my taste in music

not only that, the penishead with the constant political comment who has no backroiund whatsoever for his comments is actually questioning my taste in music

not only that, the narrowminded simpleton who hasn't even had the third of my traveled road IN MUSIC, which is one of the few topics I think I have some minimal sort of knowldge of is questioning my taste in music

I'm not even going into the severe lack of proper usage of the english language...

question, how do you tell an idiot apart from an imbecile? the imbecile is not aware of his own stupidity

LP is great though

I know that album is available to stream in it's entirety, but I've yet to do so. Would you say it's more consistent than Ágætis Byrjun? By the way, I started a new indie rock thread, not knowing that you had this one. Sorry to invade your territory, but if you're interested it's right here.
interesting question, but ask yourself this, is it possible to top an album like Ágætis Byrjun? apparently Corinthian loves it, and so do I, but maybe it's me, but I find Ágætis a very difficult album to top

I can tell you this much, it's way better than ( ), which is a great album in itslef

and worry not about your thread, we need more spaces to educate the misguided souls, kinda like the genius above me

I hear what you're saying about comparing the albums. I've gotta check out the new one. Thanks for being cool with my thread. I'm with ya on the education part. :)

For any of you that dug Frances The Mute, I recommend you listen to their previous albums (or probably have already). These guys are lyrical geniuses.

has anybody heard N.E.D.'s Atomic Dustbin? alternative british band from the early 90's with two bass players, their album God Fodder is one of those albums that influenced me a whole lot while growing up

and I've had a very hard time finding it

Damn, I forgot about those guys!!!! They were very cool! I'm assuming you've hit the usual Soulseek and torrent places looking for their stuff?

Yeah, I still love that album! It's so consistent and catchy! I had to swipe it from a college radio station to get my copy, but that was years ago. Ya know, they had the first ever "buzz bin" video on MTV with Grey Cells Green. Great song, by the way.

i have all their b-sides and early stuff, as well as one of their follow up albums.

now you've gone and made me feel like a kid again.
PS- Plas- i'll be on soulseek in about 45 minutes. I think you have my username already, right?

as far as I can recall, there were other clips with the buzz bin/buzz clip tag before Ned's, but one thing was for sure, if a video was tagged with it, it was worth checking their entire albums out

I miss when MTV had actual musical direction

No, I'm pretty sure they were the first. I've taken pride in knowing that as fact over the years, but I could be wrong. I wonder if I can research it. Anywho, yeah, MTV's just a sad corporate ****e of TV channel now. MTV2 is decent sometimes, though.

one of the first Buzz Bin clips I remember was Anthrax and Public Enemy's "Bring The Noise" and The Soup Dragon's "Divine Thing" and those were back in the summer of 91, a few months before Ned's vid was released

You should slap together a torrent of all their stuff that you have, max, and put it out on a site those that want to share via PM can all get to and d/l when they are able to get to a system they can do that from. :)

You could be right. I've actually gone to the trouble of registering on Ned's official bulletin board to try and find out if it's true or not. We'll see...
