my birthday's coming up and my wife is planning on buying me some cd's. i know she's getting me the new built to spill album, but what other albums should i request? most of you know what i'm into, so please give me some recommendations. thanks!

last night I couldn't sleep... so I went into the living room and watched tv for a little while, they showed this really cool band on MTV (yes, they show really cool videos at 3am) and today I decided to check them out

I suppose the fact that MTV actually plays MUSIC at those odd hours of the night and early morning helps, huh? Left to my own devices without a work schedule to adhere to, I tend to gravitate towards getting up around 10-11am and staying up until 2-3am. When I have time away from work like that, it also seems to be my most productive time in terms of my electronica compositions and my writing. Not a coincidence, I believe.
