motown... you are from detroit...i am from windsor...i'll check that link, but first.... von bondies >>>> white stripes... just thought i'd share..

Does anyone here listen to Cotton Mather?

never heard of them (him)...but right now i'm listening to Sage Francis...and everyone should be listening to him.

The lead singer sounds exactly like John Lennon, the band is sort of hard to describe. I like them.

Are all these pre-teen bands lately a sudden thing? Fad, maybe? I rarely listen to more than a single song by them, but so far they seem to all kinda suck.*

*4 year old rock-star Maya Bond excluded.

what? are you serious. if thats a joke, you can take that one on the road and you'd kill with it! the white stripes make the von bondies look like captain and tennile.

I just saw Gomez the weekend before last. they kicked all kinds of ass.
if you haven't checked them out yet, give them a listen.

the new album is wayyyy different than the early stuff, less blues more Pop, but good pop nonetheless, Ben's (one of the three singer's) voice is awesome.

besides, Pitchfork called them "talentless" that alone should be enough to put them on your all-time top-ten list>

start to listen in chronological order, it'll help you understand better the evolution of the band

Pablo Honey
The Bends
OK Computer
Kid A
Amnesiac
Hail To The Thief

if you want more specific songs, it will be more difficult, mostly because each Radiohead fan has different "favorite tracks"

Here's my top five Radiohead songs to add to JLBats fine list.

1. Black Star -- The Bends
2. Fake Plastic Trees -- The Bends
3. Everything In Its Right Place -- Kid A
4. Paranoid Android -- OK Computer
5. Airbag -- OK Computer

five words:
Clap Your Hands, Say Yeah!!!

not that I know of... besides, they always break up during album recordings
