I'm starting this thread since I think it's the music that a lot probably would relate to, especially around right now in the US.

What are some of your favorite political/protest songs?





This below song might need some explanation behind it, it was made during the Cold War where there were threats of potential armageddon:


To give more insight here to those who are very young and might not know the political implications of this song, it was in response to Bush's presidency and Bush tried to ban this song on the radio (Trump will most likely try to ban songs too) :

Favorite protest songs hmm. "Eve Of Destruction" by Barry McGuire or any of Tom Lehrer's songs such as "Pollution" or "Who'se Next" or Warren Zevon's "Roland The Headless Thompson Gunner".
 
I've found that these songs inherently bring Trump Dump to mind whether it deals with racism and equality, tearing down walls, corrupt politicians known for lying, the color Red (Russians (Cold War songs) and Republicans), and more.
