Alexandra Daddario is 26, if JL movie is released by 2015, she will be 29 by then and they can always use a bit of makeup to make he look mature.

Daddario is a good choice if JL becomes successful franchise and they plan on sequels.
Sequel to Percy Jackson will be released next year, so it will give her some more popularity.

Gremma Arterton is another solid choice, she is also 26 and can look the part.

One unconventional choice would be Emily Blunt, for WW.

Taylor Cole could be alright for a TV series but not for movies.

gemma imo is in the same mold of henry cavill good up and coming actor who has been in popular material but not a big name yet

I agree with Abbie Cornish and Alexandra Daddario, and I'll throw in Mary Elizabeth Winstead in too.

Hayley Atwell and Gemma Arterton are more suited for Lois Lane.

I don't know if makeup will help Daddario. She's got really soft, round features. I doubt makeup's going to change that.

while i tend to agree with that line of thinking, i think they're is some give when it comes to women having the heroic look as opposed to the men. she doesn't have to be as androgynous as say lucy lawless or someone like a young mariel hemingway.

She doesn't have to appear androgynous, she just needs more chiseled features. Just about every actress suggested for WW so far has a better look than Daddario, and none of them come across as mannish.

Daddario is baby-faced. She could still be convincing as a highschool kid. It works well for her role in the upcoming Percy Jackson sequel (2013):

Considering JL is filming next year, I really don't care for her as Wonder Woman. Cavill looks like a man. Wonder Woman needs to appear as a woman.

That, and Daddario, like Gemma, is very soft in her acting delivery. As a tough Amazonian warrior, I don't see it.

There are worse choices, but there are much better ones.

Hayley Atwell's face lacks innocence and she has average beauty.

her physique is not suitable for action oriented roles (like Christina Hendricks.) as she is not that athletic looking.

Her physique has great potential for Wonder Woman. WW has always had big.... she'll fill out the suit well.

She's far beyond average looking. Easily one of the most beautiful women in Hollywood. Lacks innocence? WW is supposed to be a tough amazon like Xena, not girly and innocent. Atwell has the right balance.

Does WW have Looks lik Xena ? NO.

Mature looks can still have some innocence , for example- Emily Blunt (who, would be a good candidate for Wonder Woman.)

Interestingly, I cannot see how can likes of Christina Hendricks and Hayley Atwell make a transformation to physique like Lucy Lawless. Wrong Body type.

Blunt is about a 5/10 when it comes to resembling WW. The only good thing about her is her resume.


Atwell has a good mix of innocence and maturity.

But still looks and sounds mature enough to be a commanding Wonder Woman:
