well if DB does well enough and gets a sequel which i expect it will, Raditz will appear, so who should play him?

I think it should be someone older than Chatwin by more than a couple years with a much larger physique, and I know DB already has one Buffy alum but the only choice I can think of for Raditz is

You should check out Angel, his evil persona Angelus is not too far removed from Raditz. Both are cruel, sadistic, and use wicked humor. He'd be perfect!

We might as well remember that Raditz is supposed to be Goku's brother... I can't exactly see the Undertaker, or any other ultra-buff, WWF-type mastodont, presenting himself to skinny Justin Chatwin and saying “hiya, I'm your brother” with a straight face... it would be too comical, like in Schwarzennegger & Danny DeVito's “Twins” t:

Actually, David Boreanaz is about right, physically, and considering the small role Raditz should have anyway, he could be enough for it...

Raditz is supposed to be buff so I don't get where you're coming from. Raditz doesn't need to be portrayed as someone skinny, we need someone that's physically fit & somewhat buff to portray him. Besides, Chatwin will more than likely beef himself up before the next movie comes around.

And I guess you'll be the one deciding what's important and what isn't, huh?

Actually, and I'm sorry that you didn't see it, I was trying to make a point. There's enough difference between being “buff” and being “skinny”... more than enough to allow for a middle point between those two extremes you seem to be considering as the only possibilities.

And, if any, I'd rather go with skinny ones than buffs; at least the former ones have been proven to be able to act more often than the others.

Need examples? Christopher Reeve, arguably considered the best Superman ever, was described as “skinny” when he was cast... tall, but skinny. And yes, he beefed up a bit prior to the filming... but even when it started, he was actually rather slender...

... and he needed not be any bigger. The plot, character description and SFX more than took care of that, to make you believe he was able to do things that any regular mammoth couldn't.

While I do think that Raditz's hair should be hella long, it shouldn't be too long. The hair he has in the manga/anime/video games is too long to try & pull off in a movie. I say make the hair believably long.

I think the actor Bobby Tonelli would be a good choice for Raditz he is only 32 years old and it would be believable that Justin Chatwin and Tonelli are brothers.

The actor Ben Barnes I think would make an awesome Raditz. He will star in The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian as Prince Caspian.
