Mad Dog's in this film?! How in the world could he have survived?! I guess he's playing a different character though, just looked it up on IMDB that he'll be known as Prakoso. Maybe he'll be playing Mad Dog's brother seeking revenge against Rama.

Yeah the same actor is playing a different character, a Hobo with a machete!

Indonesia isn't Hollywood with a gazillion of actors who are also stunt performers. I don't think anyone will be taken out of this film with the magnificent Mad Dog actor making another appearence.

Honestly, Mad Dog was the best movie villain of 2012.

Silly question, but I wonder if Rama actually wears that in the film.

I have some friends who usually refuse to watch foreign films for that same stupid reason, so I sat some of them down to watch I Saw the Devil one day and they all had a change of heart about foreign films afterwards. Can't wait till I find a copy of A Bittersweet Life on DVD or Blu-ray, that film may just be the best foreign film I've ever seen.

You have excellent taste in movies, my friend. A bitter sweet life is amazing and one of the best movies that successfully mixes action and drama. What the enforcer went through was so dam unnecessary.

I agree. I first discovered the movie because of this outstandingly well-made, and fan-made, music video that uses a Nine Inch Nails song, "Everyday is Exactly the Same", to great effect:

I'm stunned that it only has just over 3,500 views. :wow:

That was a great video. If I hadn't seen the movie before, I would definitely try to get my hands on it ASAP.

Have you checked out any of Johnny To's movies?

Really annoyed currently that I don't believe any theatres near me are going to be showing this.

Yes. I have actually, as I recently watched Drug War on the Movie Network. I haven't seen any of his other films, but I can't wait to check out Mad Detective and Triad Election sounds like it'll be an incredible film (critics comparing it to The Godfather series, and it's only 92 minutes long... I consider that, in of itself, to be a true success).

Local theatres will play this, not the big theatres like Cineplex and what-not. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if word-of-mouth spreads fast on this thing and we get to see it in theatres all-around due to popular demand. I'm really excited about this film, I literally cannot wait to experience it in the theatres. Hopefully some cinemas play the first and second film back-to-back, that would be amazing. :applaud

I was lucky enough to find a theater (Harkins) that played the first Raid movie...I just really hope they do it again this time around. The USA date says March 28 from IMDB and fandango but I keep seeing April 11th in other places.

It's 28th for New York and some other city, April 11th for everyone else.

Ah I see...oh well, there goes my epic double feature of The Raid 2 and Sabotage. :csad:

Sabotage looks like a really fun movie, too bad it already seems like it'll get a mixed reaction, seeing as how some people are against it, for whatever reason. :whatever: I mean, come on. It's an Arnold movie, does anyone not remember Total Recall and all of the other classics he's starred in? Sabotage is going to be a lot of fun because Arnold's at that older age now where it's actually scary to watch him perform some of these stunts, which arguably makes him a better actor, the fact that he's willing to go out there and put his body on the line for the sake of entertaining people, that takes heart which guys like Stallone and Schwarzenegger definitely have.

Balistik is an editing acquaintance of mine. This is definitely one of my favorite videos by him. I've watched it many times and to this day still haven't seen A Bittersweet Life. I need to get around to it soon.

Nice. I've checked out your videos before too, your Bruce Lee/Sevendust video has always been a real inspiration to me and it made me an even bigger fan of Sevendust and Bruce Lee alike because of it.

I think Rama could put up a good fight against Godzilla. But that's just me.

What does that have to do with anything he's doing now. Yeah he's starred in some classics but that doesn't mean he gets a pass for what he's doing now.

Ecstatic as hell, a theatre about 30 minutes away have got it on, which happens to be the theatre I saw the first Raid at two years ago. Quite appropriate :D

Just read a review that said this was the most violent movie ever made. I wonder if that's hyperbole? I mean, that's a big claim.

Verhoeven , Cameron , Milius , Walter Hill , McTiernan. None of them is directing that film.

There's a preview screening at my local cinema on the 31st. Deffo going.
