in re the teen angels taffy was the blonde brenda the brunette and dee dee had black hair as she was black you may want to edit it so taffy or brenda was turpin's niece

Thanks for the clarification. I haven't seen the series in a long while.

The Teen Angels in this DC Universe version are as follows:

Brenda Danielle Turpin - Lead Vocals/Keyboards
(Niece of Inspector Daniel Turpin, Metropolis Special Crimes Unit

Denise "Dee Dee" Wells - Drums
(She is the daughter of General William Wells, from Justice League)

Taffeta "Taffy" Carter - Guitar
(She is the daughter of Daniel Carter, the man who will become Supernova in 52. She is also the great, great, great, great grandmother of Booster Gold and Goldstar.)

Since Josie and the Pussycats could not be available in the DC Universe, I decided to make the Teen Angels both musicians and junior detectives under the auspices of the Metropolis Special Crimes Unit and Inspector Maggie Sawyer.

Falcon Seven (John M. Jackson), the head of the Continental Bureau of Investigations, has been kidnapped from his Central City bureau office by agents of the terrorist organization called the Federation of Evil, Anarchy and Revenge (FEAR)! And, it's got Central City District Attorney Harvey Ray Randall coming out of retirement and putting back on the Birdman costume in order to save his former boss! But the s**t hits the fan when Birdman comes face to face with FEAR's new leader: the ruthless politician Malcolm Thawne (John Wesley Shipp), the Flash villain known as Cobalt Blue! And, that's got the Flash joining up with Birdman to bring down Thawne and his operation, and rescue Falcon Seven before it's too late!

Episode Four: Inertia

For the sake of the DCAU, I'm going to screw with comic-book continuity a little bit, and bring you my take on a Impulse villain:

Love is in the air for Bart, as he is at school when he meets a beautiful rival and potential girlfriend named Meloni Thawne (Liza Jacqueline), who suddenly has the hots for the junior speedster! But, there's something bewitchingly wicked about her, for we find out that she is not only the daughter of presidential candidate Malcolm Thawne, the creep from last episode, but she has a power and secret identity all her own: Inertia! And when this beautiful redhead starts matching Impulse's speed move for move, Bart is about to find out how deadly this "speed queen" can be when she tries to turn Bart over dark side! Can Bart find a way to get out from under her seductive spell before it's too late? Speed kills, Bart!

Episode Five: Chain Lightning

The Legion of Superheroes guest star in this episode set in the 31st Century, where they find themselves dealing with a couple of super-fast girls named Christina (Haylie Duff) and Wilhelmina West (Mackenzie Rosman), the duo known as Chain Lightning and two of the many descendants of the legendary Flash Legacy! But, there is another legacy that the West twins belong to, and when their cousin, Melissandra Thawne (Kelly Osbourne), the current Cobalt Blue of the 31st century, plots to destroy both the Legion and the Flash legacy, will Billie and Christy find the courage to use their Speed Force powers to put an end to the evil Cobalt Blue legacy and save both their cousin Missy and the Legion of Superheroes before it's too late?
