Oh, by the way... I've been meaning to mention it a number of times... but I just wanted to say how funny it is that people were up in arms about Megatron and Prime being 'brothers' in this film.
For those wondering, it's not explicitly stated in such a way as to say they're SIBLINGS... just that they were once 'brothers'. You know, like 'brothers in arms'... 'mates'... 'compatriots'... 'colleagues'.
Well, at least that's how it came across to me.
Speaking of which... it kind of begs the question why the decepticons look evil, to the point Megatron's teeth look like they were borrowed from a t-rex or something.
If I were to turn evil tomorrow, would my face become all mean-lookin' too?
Just wondering.

Haven't seen the movie yet, so I dunno...
So why comment...? He was stating his opinion based on the actual film and you are basing yours on a 2 year old script... meh...
Yeah, this has been well argued many times before as well. Some posters justify that since other movies are doing it (SM, Pirates 2, Star Wars, yadda yadda, etc) that this one is not in the wrong in doing it as well. But the point is is that the original Decepticons DID NOT look evil. That was one of the traits I liked, that they all looked like they were the same race but were just at war. It makes the conflict more realistic to have "brothers" fighting one another for millions of years and so long that they no longer truly know what they are fighting about. More interesting than the usual "me good you bad we fight".
I was asking him a question. It's a discussion. And BTW, by all accounts the movie follows that "2 year old" script (more like 1.2 yr old actually) almost to a T.
That's my point... if it was "VERY clear" in the script, and ambiguous in the film, obviously some changes were made, however slight.
That's true.
Have you seen the movie?

^ if you guys have been spoiling yourselves with the various trailers and whatnot, there's a pretty good chance that you've already seen optimus' first transformation.![]()
)
optimus'? or blackout's?
[/spoiler]

well, if you like optimus so much, you'll be happy to hear...
him say "One shall stand, one shall fall" again.

I wonder how much Peter Cullen got paid. I hope it was a lot...
and I hope they realize his voice is probably one of the main things that carries the movie for many fans. I think it will for me.
Actually, they have yet to show his full Transformation.

Dude are you serious....![]()
yeah. my wife, who never has seen a transformers episode in her life, thought that optimus' voice was one of the finer points in the film. really established him as a noble, heroic leader.
just combine the frontal and back shots of optimus' transformation from the trailers and that's pretty much it. i think.
LOL, I lack that ability...lucky...I want to save that for the bigh screen.
yep! was actually quite surprised myself that they managed to squeeze it in.
^^ haha! you never asked. lol.
i can't pinpoint the exact scene when he said that, but it was during the final showdown with you-know-who. just like in the cartoon movie.
too bad megs never lifted some of his classic lines from said movie too.
