I just wonder why old Chuck have never told them...:P
One of my favorite episodes. I was just watching that yesterday. There are so many Marvel cameos in that episode it is ridiculous.

I HATE IT!!!

I dont know Wolverine looks alot like Robert Deniro in one of those comic panels... I heard Deniro has big thing for black women. Cant say I'd blame him if he played Wolverine, Halle Berry is FFFIIINNNEEE.. But she annoys me. I dont know why. But I digress--
I actually think its a good idea. and its very daring. Wolverine and Storm has been hookin up now and then and the Xmen comics always had a Soap Opera element to it. Everyone was hookin up with everyone else.. I think except Beast. He got some on the side, from another doctor I think?? I dont know....
But if your blue your through, your okay I'll stop.. lol But I dont think its a stretch at all. In my opinion, Logan better not be lookin for whats left and finds Rogue, I'd like it if Wolverine just friggin gave up on Jean, and left her with her man. I always found that discusting that they showed Logan just scheming on another mans woman in the movie. I dont think he was that bad in the comic books.
Well anyways.. They need to give Cyclops more props.. Damnit that was like three points I made right there... ugh I'll stop.

`Cyclops rules`

Beast had Storm in the Ultimates, Trisha in Uncanny and a mutant healer Cecilia Reyes in End (three children with, hihi).
But I guess it doesn't make much of sense talking about animation and drawing done a decade ago ;)

Storm and Wolverine? Ugh...no! Definitely not. Wolverine is fixated on Jean and I don't think he's going to have eyes for anyone else in X3.

Undomiel: In the movie, he definitely does. But comicbookverse, that's something entirely different ;)

I actually like Storm's mowhaek. At first i was like "WTF? What are they thinking?!?!" but then i watched the eppisode and it grew on me. I mean she still looks beautifull and regal even with a mowhawk, that sais something. Not big on the Wolverine art, but i don't think he looks like Robert Deniro.

weatherwitch dear!!! look at my avatar!!!!!! It looks amazing and i love it!!!. Thank you thank you thank you!!!:) :) :)

So I've heard. I'll stick to movieverse, thanks!

Undomiel: But movieverse is NOTHING compared to comics! ;) Honestly, how can 6 hours of movies replace 42 years of thousands of books :P

I don't read comic books. And from what I've heard about them, I think I'd prefer the movies anyway.

But still, back to the topic on hand, others who are well-versed in the comic books say there is no serious relationship between Storm and Wolverine. I'm hoping they don't try to throw one into the movie because I think it feels all wrong -- no chemistry. Wolverine loves Jean!

No chemistry? Maybe in the movies but in the comics, where those characters are best represented, Storm and Wolverine share a very deep relationship that isn't just "hit and run", but special in a way that has spanned over years and years of friendship, it just clicks IMO

Ahahahahaha...**wipes eyes** Uhm, no. Wolverine wants to hump Jean. Big difference; however, there is a little thread on here dedicated to that premise as well.

That's so wrong...and yet I can't stop laughing. NO! It still can't defeat the Rolo:up:

No, you're quite wrong about that. Logan does love Jean. In X1 he tells her his heart belongs to him. Everyone who has read the comics says she reminds him of Rose, his first love. In X2 Logan refuses to sleep with Mystique even though she offers to transform herself into Jean for him. Why would he refuse to act out his fantasies if he only lusted after Jean? Because he truly cares about Jean as person, not just some one-night stand. And when Jean dies at the end of X2, Logan cries and mourns because he has grown to love her.

Anyone who does not understand that Logan loves Jean is missing a serious chunk of the drama that is being played out in these films. You see, in order for the story to work, Logan must love Jean. If the main character only has some kind of petty lust for Jean Grey, what will it matter when she turns into Dark Phoenix? It would have very little dramatic impact. This does not make sense -- it would be very poor story-telling, and a waste of a great storyline: that of the hero tragically losing his lady love.

I hate to break it to you, but in the tent Mystique transformed into EVERY woman Logan knew at the X-mansion. She new he was a horn-dog. She asumed that if the Jean image didn't work something else would. But he was to preoccupied with Stryker.

Now your talking about how the movies are tell a better story than the books. Well as you know the movies can only fit 2+hrs of info in them. In that scene Mystique shouldn't have gotten within ten feet of him because of his nose. As over-exposed an scene hogging as Wolverine is in these movies, they have totally down played his senses. Now why is that, cause its crucial in his characters.

And I hate to break it to you, but ever since the first Orgins came out, I've lost major respect points for Jean/Logan. Jean is a replacement for Rose. There I said it, curse me all you want. But it's true.

Now the reason why I like Ro and Lo is because they had to work at thier realationship. Slowy. No extra bonus points from dead drama in the past. Everything they do is right there in front of you. It reminds me of all the great hate-hate/love-hate/platonic/working/more-than-just-friends-but-not-yet-lovers long in cmming realationships that make on going stories awsome. Like a soap opera, or just an opera. This wedding is just a speed bump.

Oooh I forgot something, The Dark Phoenix Saga should be revolved around Jean and Scott. If Logan was taken out of that J/L/S equation it would still be good. Even better. Instead of the sexual tension having a focas (in the movies), it could be about Jean's heart-ache and angst about her power currupting her, and Scott doing everything he can to bring her back, and failing miserably. Drama. Sadness. Tears

Meanwhile Logan should be more focased on the X-men being threated from within because of the cure. Which would he choose? His life was stolen because of his mutation. Would he have said yes to the cure? This is where the character conflict with Storm could have come in. We could see the angst there, maybe.

But alas, we will see none of this. Fox is aiming for a**** in the seats.
