if that happened... I wouldn't be here... at all. I wouldn't even be an X-Men fan right now. Seriously. -leaves thread-

Oooh I forgot something, The Dark Phoenix Saga should be revolved around Jean and Scott. If Logan was taken out of that J/L/S equation it would still be good. Even better. Instead of the sexual tension having a focas (in the movies), it could be about Jean's heart-ache and angst about her power currupting her, and Scott doing everything he can to bring her back, and failing miserably. Drama. Sadness. Tears

Meanwhile Logan should be more focased on the X-men being threated from within because of the cure. Which would he choose? His life was stolen because of his mutation. Would he have said yes to the cure? This is where the character conflict with Storm could have come in. We could see the angst there, maybe.

But alas, we will see none of this. Fox is aiming for a**** in the seats.

And don't forget to add who is the one that Logan keeps with him in the "The End" story! Twenty years........

You know what's really funny. That episode ended with Logan telling Storm how nice it was rolling around with her. o_O

Here are the wanted pictures from Past Prime (prequel to Wolverine:The End) and X-men: End (both are no alternative universe but normal ending series. (not sure who wrote Wolverine, but X-men are Claremont's work)

I hate to break it to you, but in the tent Mystique transformed into EVERY woman Logan knew at the X-mansion. She new he was a horn-dog. She asumed that if the Jean image didn't work something else would. But he was to preoccupied with Stryker.

Now your talking about how the movies are tell a better story than the books. Well as you know the movies can only fit 2+hrs of info in them. In that scene Mystique shouldn't have gotten within ten feet of him because of his nose. As over-exposed an scene hogging as Wolverine is in these movies, they have totally down played his senses. Now why is that, cause its crucial in his characters.

And I hate to break it to you, but ever since the first Orgins came out, I've lost major respect points for Jean/Logan. Jean is a replacement for Rose. There I said it, curse me all you want. But it's true.

Now the reason why I like Ro and Lo is because they had to work at thier realationship. Slowy. No extra bonus points from dead drama in the past. Everything they do is right there in front of you. It reminds me of all the great hate-hate/love-hate/platonic/working/more-than-just-friends-but-not-yet-lovers long in cmming realationships that make on going stories awsome. Like a soap opera, or just an opera. This wedding is just a speed bump.

Now why would I curse you? Everyone's entitled to their own opinion.

As for the tent scene with Mystique, she turned herself into all those women because she didn't know which one would tempt Logan the most, and what do we see? That Logan wasn't tempted enough by any of them, nor was he only distracted by Stryker, because even after she turns into Stryker, he orders her to leave. As for why he didn't smell her...well, simple -- she caught him off guard. He had just kissed Jean, and therefore had nothing but Jean (not Stryker) on the brain. Even a highly trained nose-dog has to be put on to a scent before he picks it up.

But if you have a problem with Jean and Logan being in love, how can you possibly see it coming with Storm and Logan? Especially if you go by the comic books.

Don't get me wrong -- it's not that I don't like Storm or don't think she good enough for Logan, or some dumb thing like that. I think Storm is interesting and very cool. I also think she's too mature (and too busy taking care of her X-friends) to get involved where she's knows there's already relationship tension and problems.

Another thing -- if Logan is so shallow in his affections and so promiscuous, why would you want to see him in a relationship with Storm? You can't have it both ways, you know. Either Logan is faithful and capable of deep affection (which he obviously already has for Jean) or he's a low-down dirty dog who wouldn't be worthy of Storm anyway.

Well, I'm not exactly for any option. But taking it by calm logic, Storm is the most probable result. Time after time, he grows to have his feelings for every team member as a protector and guard-dog (never admits that, though).

For Rogue: It's been said already. They're more like older/younger sibling relation, especially in the comic.
For Jean: Well, he definitely does love Jean. But it's always been a little...complicated. She's always either all-powerful, evil, or dead.
For Storm: Erm...the most complicated, I guess. Logan and 'Ro are sort of soulmates. They confess to each other, share their deepest secrets. But there's rarely been anything more than just that old dancing on the razor (of the adamantium claw, hihi).

Three options, and truth to tell, none of them are exactly right or exactly wrong. Storm is just the most logic (as it seems, Logan in the end chose her himself, as we can see above in the Past Prime shots), but who said Wolverine has ever made his decisions logically :P

It's been written in there. But once again, it's X-men: The End, book 1: Dreamers and Demons, vol.2: Omens and Portents.

Yavanna: Lot of them is already posted. But if you know about some who didn't, tell me the number and I'm gonna find it.

whoa!! its my first time seeing those. ;)

Neither are from a mainline X-Book, that's probably why. A lot of people that don't understand "why RoLo" have missed moments like these, and so they don't get it. But we do :D, oh yes we do, LOL.

I have always hated Jean and Logan together and still do.
But I thought Logan lusted after Jean not love her.
Anyways why are the movies so wrong why can't they let Storm and Wolvie be together

What up ororocity! Its me,montrail, from xmenfilms forum! I didn't know u were on here!

I was searching for Wolverine : Past Prime. And I found the script that Joe Harris wrote for the comic.
This is the website site : www.josephharris.com/pastprime.pdf

*Storm appears as a figment of Wolverine’s imagination, as she will in the actual graphic novel. He talks to her, rather than talking to himself. We will show Storm’s death as being very traumatic for Wolverine. She dies in the same battle he walked away from. He feels great sadness and guilt. In his old age, he seems to have become a little senile. All alone in the world, Wolverine talks to his memories. Storm will also serve as Logan’s ‘better judgment’ as he makes crucial decisions. The reader will get he impression that’s she’s a part of Wolverine’s personality, not just a vision of a long, lost friend. *

We see the tree, in the foreground. We notice an outline in the shape of Storm’s tiara carved deep into the bark. Near it, we find the tally marks left by Wolverine over the years. This Storm’s grave. Storms apparition stands next to the tree, her back to the camera. Below, we see a tiny Wolverine make his way form the site, back into the harsh weather from the whence he came. Storm watches him leave.

*Perhaps a few stone marks the spot beneath the tree where she is buried. Though covered with snow, they might poke through. We want this to be revealed to the readers. This is why Wolverine comes all this way, year after year after year : to visit his friend’s grave*
