I saw this film for the first time the other night and it blew me away, the lush look of it is at times almost dream like and the story takes turns i wasn't expecting.

Val Kilmer is on great form as Danny Parker/Tom Van Allen, a hero ? that feels so lost and engrossing, providing a fantastic noir style voice over that enriches the movies narrative.
Vincent D'Onofrio is a scene stealer, creating a classic villain in the deranged Pooh Bear.

The black comedy is pitch perfect and never distracts from the main story which is a haunting and wistful experience punctured by the harshness of the situation Danny/Tom is in, the moody soundtrack is just another layer on the cake.

anyone else love this movie ?

It played on a movie channel over here but I never got to see the whole movie. But, I'm on the lookout for the DVD. :p
