The best one was when that little kid grabbed Candice Michelle's boob years ago. Lucky bastard!

Regarding Sting not signing a deal with WWE yet, it’s more because WWE is dragging their feet. We noted before that WWE officials are in no hurry to get Sting signed for a WrestleMania XXX match

I just...I just don't understand...

Me either. If you have a chance to do a dream match and the clock is almost striking midnight on both their careers, you take it.

Hopefully WWE doesn't get any ideas for Hornswoggle and Big Show as Master Blaster.

I call BS - at this point, I don't think there's any ONE person who could be a "difference-maker" in selling tickets & PPVs. This notion that one person has to be "the guy" is so maddening because the business has changed so much, yet they still think the way they did in the 80s and 90s. Even during the boom periods, you could make the argument that the "top guy" was only as good as the players around him. And in today's WWE, the "other guys" aren't given enough consistent booking to move the needle anyway. They perpetuate all this nonsense and it's frustrating to see that decision-makers don't move along with the times.

Agreed. They talk about Punks lack of drawing power but they never REALLY gave him the ball or put the machine behind him. Yet he's STILL number 2 despite Cena being the only one to get a true big time sustained push and protection. Imagine if they did out the machine behind Punk.

WWE wants guys to step up and get the audience but don't give them the proper support. It's a two way street.

Of course it is, because they make zero sense. Vince has done a lot for the pro wrestling business, but it seems like he has more bad ideas than good ones these days

The wells run dry.

I can't wait for that Austin/Cena podcast, and I can see why Ziggler and Bryan aren't getting better pushes. They need to fight back the way that Punk did.

Bryan might be able to. He's got the momentum with the audience right now. Ziggler doesn't have much to bargain with. He's talented but that doesn't mean much to Vince when he thinks he can easily produce guys with similar talent. They tell guys to step up but they don't have a leg to stand on today. Wwe isn't interested in making as many individual stars as they used to.

Me either. If you have a chance to do a dream match and the clock is almost striking midnight on both their careers, you take it.

Yeah I can see both sides of it but they're not getting any younger. On one hand its smart to build Sting up with some big time matches, introduce him to the younger audience, and hype a match with Taker for a year. It gives them time to get in the bests shape and the best health possible.

But 30 is the better time to do the match than 31 if they want 30 to be the biggest WM ever. It's a ppv that represents so much history and Taker vs Sting would fit in such a nostalgia themed show. A match with Lesnar could wait longer than a match with Sting.

But even if sting doesn't wrestle at WM30 they should go ahead and sign him and lock him in before something changes. It's stupid to wait to sign him.

I'm fine with Sting not having a WM XXX match until 31 but I sure hope they aren't dragging their feet in finally signing him,Him debuting on Raw after WM would be great or at WM for a big moment

It was reported that Bryan has gotten in Triple H's face backstage. I want Ziggler to, but tehy'll just job him into Hawkins territory or wish him best of luck in his future endeavours.

- Word in WWE is that Mr. T has agreed to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year. No word yet if WWE still plans on inducting the participants and the match itself of the WrestleMania I main event. Another source has confirmed that Cyndi Lauper’s name has been discussed as well.

- Regarding Chris Jericho’s WWE future, there was some talk in late 2013 about bringing him back for the first few months of 2014 but apparently the issues that kept it from happening had to do with creative instead of financials.

- There is a lot of talk within WWE that Christian isn’t expected to stick around once his current contract expires. At age 40, there’s a feeling that WWE creative isn’t going to do anything significant with Christian and he’s just “playing out the string.”

- Speaking of Big E, he joked on Twitter about WWE dropping part of his name:

“I sold “Langston” for a Segway & a couple 40s.”

A year ago right during his first match with Orton, if I remember. Bryan got a concussion from a bump, and Triple H ended the match abruptly and Bryan was upset about it and said he had worked through worst and could get through the match. It even made WWE.com.

Wouldn't be surprised if that's the reason Bryan's being held down. YOU DON'T TALK TO THE GAME LIKE THAT-AAH!

- James Storm recently spoke with ItemOnline.com and talked about the current group of guys in TNA:

“TNA is the best group going. Everybody’s trying to make each other better. Sometimes, it’s tough brotherly love and some guys want to hear it and some guys don’t, but we’re all trying to put on a good show.”

- On a related note, there was said to be a lot of bonding among the wrestlers on the recent TNA UK tour. Regarding the speech that Samoa Joe gave on a bus trip that we covered last week, it’s said that Joe basically told the talent that they were all in a fight and everyone needed to band together to make a difference in turning things around. Nobody from creative was present, just the wrestlers.

Joe and MVP are positioning themselves as the locker room leaders with so many of the veterans no longer being there. They want the company to bring in new talent that can go and are trying to motivate those that are already there. They basically said that nobody buys anything regarding Jeff Jarrett’s new promotion until they see something concrete, since there are people in TNA who are loyal to Jarrett or just wanting out of TNA and seeing Jarrett as their life preserver. They added that TNA is safe because people have said it was going out of business for 11 years and it’s still there.

- Regarding talk of Vince Russo working with TNA again, it was noted recently that Russo was CC’d on some creative e-mails and may have been been doing some consulting work. Many staffers and wrestlers denied that Russo has had any involvement but word now is that he has been in contact with at least a few people within TNA.

People close to Russo note that he has been following the product again and they believe that is something he would never do under normal circumstances. The key to the story is that when a rep from Japan’s Wrestle-1 promotion asked a TNA official directly if Russo was involved or coming back, they did not get an answer. As noted, Wrestle-1 does not want a relationship with TNA if Russo is involved.

Russo’s name was discussed at last weekend’s TNA live events but only because the story was going around, nothing internal. Both Bully Ray and Abyss, who are pretty much office workers and talent, said to the wrestlers that if Russo is involved, they know nothing about it.

- When Kurt Angle messed up his knee doing the steel cage moonsault recently, it was discovered that he has no ACL and hasn’t had one in several years, but has continued to work on it. This is an unusual injury but Chris Jericho worked since 2008 with no ACL and it didn’t hinder him. Jericho’s actually partially grew back.

- Regarding Prince Devitt attending the TNA live event in Dublin last month, word is that he gave TNA the respect of listening to their offer but it was never going to happen. If he was to leave New Japan Pro Wrestling, it would only be for WWE.

How'd Bryan not get blinded in one eye?

WWE is really dropping the ball with some veterans. Most of em don't do may jobs but the few that do are being wasted of misused. They should be happy to try to use guys like Jericho and Christian around to work with rookies and put on god matches. Instead they job them out in worthless matches or dot build them up.

Having Jericho work with Fandago last year was a waste seeing as Fandago didn't even become much of a midcard fixture.

That concussion messed up his stride. Had he got that IC title run instead of Axel Foley, he may have faired better.

To be fair, Fandango was supposed to win the Intercontinental Championship at Payback, but suffered a concussion (which killed his push) and it went to Mr. Imperfect instead.

Christian could work a program with Big E for the IC belt. Gives the IC belt some attention and gives the champion a chance to work with a veteran and learn more.

Ross has posted a new blog over at JRsBarBQ.com, and the following are his thoughts on companies not encouraging talent to speak up for themselves:
If any wrestling company fosters a backstage environment that does not encourage their talents to speak up and get more involved in their careers from a presentation and creative standpoint, that company is asking for hard times. In ring participants like to perform and to create or they wouldn't be in the biz. If one is a performer then they likely have an above average abundance of creativity. Any show business entity that stifles creativity from their performers is myopic.

Talents cannot be afraid to speak up but unfortunately because of the shrinking number of places a talent can work and earn a decent living the "don't rock the boat" philosophy seems to permeate the wrestling business.

That's not healthy for anyone involved.

I'm listening to Chris Jerichos podcast and imagining Jericho and Eddie Guerrero getting into a fight at a Denny's.

Now he and Chavo are talkin about Peppe!
