Sometimes, in my dreams, I find myself searching the TV for WCW or going to the store searching for a WCW video game.

I think that's my subconscious yearning not for WCW to return, but for a legit wrestling company to exist to give WWE a run for its money.

TNA doesn't fit that role.

Some time ago I asked what everyone would name their own promotion, titles, shows/events, and I realized I never got around to answering it myself.

After toying with a few names I decided on:

Even, At Odds Wrestling

My main show would be called "Breaking Even"

My titles would include:

World Championship

On Demand Championship (updated approach to the TV title)

Tag Team Championship

Submissions Championship

Women's Championship

Gravity Chamionship (X Division)

Unleashed Championship (hardcore)

I don't pine for competition or even want it. I wouldn't mind it though.

Competition makes the business better and makes promotions work harder. Best period in wrestling was when there were multiple mainstream companies vying for that number one spot.

Agreed. They add nothing to the product, especially Rob Conway. Now The Young Bucks are a different story. 5 Minutes into their first ever NJPW match and they're already insanely over.

Any new companies objective should be to be the best company possible and be as successful as possible. Competition comes naturally from that. Any company that's goal is primary to compete with WWE is looking for problems. Doing that should be far second. For WCW competing with WWF came first and being concerned about their own quality was a distant second. That was part of WCWs downfall. It was part of the Crocketts downfall before that.

MVP's going to need a better finisher than the kick, IMO. Same moveset and style from the looks of it. His gimmick isn't that of a celebrity athlete this time around, so maybe that's okay. But I was hoping he would have some explosiveness in his match.

Though that guy wasn't the best opponent to showcase his skills against.
