This show looks really funny. Sarah is a great comedienne, and I'm sure this program will turn quite a few heads.

Show was very mediocre. Turned it off 10 minutes in.

And the thread was started for discussion about the show, anyone has a right to post any thoughts about the show.

Agreed, it tries to hard to be offensive for the sake of it. While it had funny moments, its not spectacular.

The gay couple I think is pretty good so far.

It's really is just a show where you're waiting for Silverman to make off-color, often-times offense remarks. There's way too much filler, as the show tries to justify itself as a sitcom.

The Adult Swim shows on Cartoon Network have the right idea, acknowledging the fact that most of their concepts for comedic programming only warrant about 10 to 15 minutes per episode.

The Sarah Silverman Program is that kind of show, and it's suffers from its adherance to the 30-minute sitcom format.

Well, Comedy Central doesn't have any other shows that could fill up a 15 minute opening at the moment. So, that wouldn't make sense to do that right now.

Then you'd do two self-contained episodes in a half-hour block per week.

And now that I think about it, Crank Yankers would have been a perfect "half-of-a-half-hour" show. Now it's on MTV2, which is slowly devolving into "Spike TV Jr."
