Hey, just thought that I would update you guys on what's going on with the series.... I was able to find a HUGE SPOILER for the PILOT episode!!! 'Now Casting' now has the PILOT pages up to read (not complete)... which should give you an idea of how the series will play out. At first I was skeptical, but after reading these pages I believe we may have a new hit on our hands.

You can read the PILOT now at:

Now Casting/ Sides/ Pilot

The account is free.

Below is the layout and character details attained from the PILOT episode:

I was browsing through 'Now Casting' and decided to see what PILOT pages were up to read and to my surprise the Sarah Connor Chronicles was among them!!! I thought they would keep things top secret, guess not...

I think this show has potential to be great and a hit for the network (I belive FOX picked it up)...

SPOILERS

PLOT

We open to a a police station. Van Meter, a law enforcement officer of some kind, is interviewing Sarah's fiance, Burke.

Flash back to 1998....

Burke asks Sarah to marry him. Sarah freaks out. Sarah tells John that it's time to go. John says that the cops will not find them, and that he knows the only reason Sarah wants to leave is because Burke asked her to marry him and she doesn't know how to respond. At which point John says that they both like him.

Missoula High School. John is at computer class. Meets Cameron, a hot teenage girl, who he obviously has a crush on. She is afraid of machines. Cameron asks John if he wants to do something after school. John says that he can't, he has to go home directly afterwards.

John comes back home. Sarah is painting. Sarah asks John how is day went. John hates being the new kid, especially the 'invisible' new kid.

Sarah goes to John's room to see what is wrong. John says that it is a hicktown.

At a gas station John and Cameron meet back up. John has already figured out that Cameron is a terminator sent from the future to protect him.

Sarah is on look out. Don't know why. She is held captive by Cromartie (a terminator). It should be noted that from the dialouge it sounds as though John has been kidnapped by Cromartie, but escapes. Cromartie calls John and threatens to kill Sarah if he doesn't tell him where he is. John says that he is at home.

PAGES MISSING. Apparently Cromartie goes home and is defeated by Cameron.

On the road, seemingly 'on the run'. Cameron, Sarah and John are all in a truck driving off. Cameron says that she is from the year 2027, she has been looking for them for seventy three days, that she has come to protect John and that someone else will build Skynet. "The skynet missle defense system becomes self-aware April 19th 2011." Cameron tells Sarah that her fiance went to the police and the she should have changed her name.

Ends with Van Meter and a Deputy, looking at a sketch of Cromartie and that all nineteen eye witnesses saw the same thing: "A shooter with some kind of robot leg."

SARAH CONNOR

The same Sarah Connor we all know. Don't know any new information to provide.

JOHN CONNOR

Your regular teenage guy. Punk rock posters. Motorcycle helmet.... in other words the John Connors we know from T2.

John does not like the fact that Sarah always wants to run. He believes that after the events of T2 everything is over. They saved the day. And that the cops will never be able to find them.

He is sick of being the 'new kid' at school who has to remain 'invisible'. Is was also put into the computer class, which Sarah doesn't like because he could hack into the system and be caught. It is also hinted at that he is unable to have any friends because of the attention that it might bring.

One great aspect of this series is that John Connor seems like the rockin' version of Luke Skywalker.... a teenager who has a future that he will sooner or later have to accept.

CAMERON

It is unknown how this character will play out in the series. What is know, however, is that she is a terminator sent to protect John. She is in the guise of your typical attractive female teenager... And apparently (pages not available) she can kick ass. Cameron is from the year 2027.

BURKE

Sarah's fiance. Unknown specifically what role he plays, other than he is the character who starts off the narrative for the PILOT episode. Note: This may not even be a supporting character.

VAN METER

Van Meter is an agent working for the President of the United States. He is going after Sarah Connor. He is hot on their trail and interviewing those of who they have been associated with.

CROMARTIE

The villain of the PILOT episode. Not much is known about him from the pages other than that he is here to kill John. But, he does kidnap John. Then he goes after Sarah, as a means to get to John.

To me, after reading the PILOT, I personally think that this series has a lot of potential.

Sounds pretty bad. A teenage girl terminator? Comeon.

I'll have to see it in order to have an opinion. It could be good though, we'll see.

I don't like the teenage girl terminator either. So, hoping that they have a stronger terminator character (not to sound sexist)- a guy hero terminator.

But, this is only the PILOT episode. And at the end of the episode they are heading off in an unknown direction and no reveal of what they will do there- so who knows? In the script it seems used more for a 'twist' that the audience wouldn't see coming. Don't know if that's a supporting character or what.

As I said it has potential. Some flaws, but other than that- if they fix those 'flaws'- could be a great series.

The overall concept is good, while some elements aren't that great and can usually be changed.

Overall concept, from what I have read:

- On the run from agents working for the President of the United States
- Terminators sent to protect John
- Terminators sent to kill John

Sounds ****ing ****e.

Why cant hollywood make what eveyr ****ing wanted since t1 and t2? To see the god damn war between machines and man. We thought thats what t3 was going to be but it chickend out. Why wont they make it, its a goldmine series waiting to happen.

/\ The set up makes it sound like that's we're we are heading.

Actually, from the beginning, I got more of a vibe that this was the 'John Connors: Chronicles' about a teenager who is going to step up and become the hero.

Don't know what they will do. What I think they should do is let this series go up to and through the time that the war starts (2011). Don't know if they'll back out of that though to make in synch with T3.

i thought t3 was a pretty good movie and follow-up to t2. the all out war is what they've headed into right now. t4 is in the works, so maybe you'll see it there.

T4 should never happen. T3 ruined the franchise and I dont see a war movie being done without a huge budget, which no studio is going to give if Arnold isnt on board.

I dont get that feeling at all. Hell its called the sarah conner chronicles, shes not even alive by the time the war starts. (or maybe they themselves are just going to ignore T3)

/\ Dude, I read the teleplay.... I know alot more about it than you do right now. Yeah, it's called the S:CC. But, SC is actually rarely in it at all and the whole beginning is a dialouge all about John becoming a hero and likening his adventures to Luke Skywalker.

Read the teleplay, then you'll know what you're talking about. But, right now- you don't know anything really.

People publicly posting where we can get teleplays is the reason we hardly get any spoilers anymore. The producers are wise to us - it's very lucky that even slipped through the cracks at nowcasting.

Thanks for posting what you know, though - I appreciate it. I'm not sure what to think. "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" has such an anticlimactic ring to its name too.

Yeah, as I said- from what I read the title totally through me for surprise.

I mean, most of it is about John Connors- even the whole speech given by Van at the beginning likens John to a modern day Luke Skywalker... which gives a sense that the series is more about him becoming a hero, someone who will lead man against the machines in the final war.

While, Sarah Connors- not that much. She was seen as a more strong woman who was a mother. In essence, imagine Martha Kent of Smallville as a woman with a dangerous past and knows how to fight. Because, more or less- from what I've read. Sarah just plays the role of the mother who raises her son to accept his 'destiny'.

Think the title might be changed, because as I said- totally misrepresents the series. Or at least what of it I read. Because Sarah actually doesn't seem to be the starring role.

And, just wanted to say- bought the Smallville guide, the first Smallville book I bought, and just got to say- great job, definitely a great 'collector's item' for the show.

If James Cameron has anything to do with this then it will be good.

I loved 'Dark Angel'!!!

Hey, thanks! I'm glad you liked it!

I think something with the word Terminator involved would give this more cred... The Sarah Connor Chronicles could be about the lost daughter of Roseanne for all the average TV viewer knows. Plus, if Sarah's character is minor compared to others... it's silly.

I love that there's a character named Cameron.

Sarah Conner has been cast.

From Variety: "Lena Headey has landed the plum leading role in the Fox pilot "The Sarah Connor Chronicles." Project, from Warner Bros. TV, continues the "Terminator" movie franchise storyline by focusing on Sarah and her son John, as they fight attackers from the future in present-day Los Angeles. Headey takes over the role made famous by Linda Hamilton in the first two "Terminator" films."

Still iffy about the whole concept but hey, at least she's cute.

You'd think John might've brought up those wacky adventures while all of the craziness of T3 was going on...

I'll pass, I think.

I love the Terminator series, but this will probably be a pass for me.
I predict early cancellation, anyway.

Not a terrible teleplay, but nothing great or groundbreaking, and the teenage girl Terminator? Lame, and kind of creepy.
