Well, theres two ways a vheap way is to send yourself a copy of it and don't open it or pay to have it registered. So its copy righted.

So posting it on script buddy doesn't really protect it then?

Yeah, it says all things up up there are fully copy righted and can't be used with out the writers permission.

Eh. It's usually the other way around. That's why it's troubling me.

I usually have trouble coming up with original stuff. The reason I don't want to write my original stuff is fear of if I post it. It gets stolen and some takes credit for it elsewhere.

Be imaginative, dig deep into the dark corners of your mind and you are sure to find something, just be creative and try to stay clear of Clichés. I have so many orginal concepts it's going to take me a life time to write them all down

I actually started writing a screenplay for Indiana Jones 5 in June. It was a prequel, with Indy traveling to Asia looking for an ancient tomb. I stopped writing it. Because their was a scene in which I just couldn't get right. It was where Indy tries to convince Abner to come out of hiding and help him in his adventure. Mac's back in it. He's now just a good guy. And it takes place in 1956.

The opening takes place in Samarkand, where Indy finds a scroll hidden underneath passage ways buried in the earth. The scroll is actually a hidden password for the opening for a mysterious lost tomb. Indy narrowly escapes a bomb underneath the passageways thrown down from a KGB agent. Back at Marshall College, Indy discovers the Russians have followed him there. A brawl in the museum which ends on a clocktwoer with the KGB agent falling to his death. Indy finds out he is a KGB agent and his men are searching town for him. He is able to sneak in and out of his house while evading the KGB and escaping to Hong Kong, where he is captured secretly by the CIA.

Head of Operations Michael Oliver who tells him about the scroll, the tomb, and the men looking for it. A last descendent of the emperor, General Feng (the main baddie) commendeering a pirate ship, sailing the rivers of China. Joining Feng are Chinese communists and KGB agents. Indy and Mac (including a character names James Turner, who I'm thinking about cutting altogether) find Abner Ravewood in the Himalaya mountains, cutting himself off from humanity since WWII afraid of the Nazis and anyone else who might want him. Feng fins Indy and his team, but causing an avalanche, escaping Feng. Ravenwood finds them.

The next scene in Abner's hut is where I stopped writing. Other dangers wait for them. Including escaping a tiger's den, a pirhanna infested river, a pirate ship battle, a chase scene on The Great Wall of China and guardian skeleton warriors. And then finally, the showdown in the tomb of the forgotten emperor. I'm thinking about posting an my outline up later. You could say the Macguffin is the the tomb or the scroll. The scroll is just like Henry Joneses Diary. Some of it has changed for the script but most of everything is in the screenplay. But I don't think I'll post the script. I never let anyone read my work. So what do you think?

'ScriptBuddy', the only thing that sucks about 'ScriptBuddy' is that if you don't have a membership, you can only write one screenplay. But, whatever, I think I'll purchase a membership soon. I find that it really helps with my writing. And also, I'm currently working on a fan-made 'Punisher' series on this site. If you like, you can check it out(link below the signature).

What do you look to do over at 'BBC' anyways? Are planning on developing a television series or something?

It's an 18 month trainee scheme. You bascially are trained to do everything then at the end, if you're good enough you can get a job in an area you're interested in.

I just read it, and I just submitted my review. Was this your first screenplay? If so, it was really well done. Here's my review(because I know how long it takes to post a simple two word review on there):

Here, you're entering generic comedy territory with two appealing characters. The dialogue becomes irrelevant and slightly-less interesting at points, but the characters hold up to it because of their familiarity. However, next time, I'd recommend you give your characters a greater goal or, if not, add in more scenes where we can really cheer them on in their hopes and goals. Never the less, a very entertaining read.

It was my first, but it was also for school. Which is why it seems rushed towards the end. There was a 10 page limit and my first draft was about 17 and I lost a lot of scenes.

'ScriptBuddy' is my favourite screenwriting site, I only wish that the site allowed you to write more than one screenplay at a time, because once when I actually posted a full screenplay and it was actually visible in the community section, I decided to delete it in order to write another screenplay. But, of course, when I came to double-check that my previous screenplay, it was gone. That was really the only time I ever hated the site, but after a while, I was happy that I ended up deleting it, because it was a really bad screenplay. It was kind of like a rip-off of 'Batman' except it was about a teenager in high school who would go out at night and beat the hell out of the local bullies, genius right
