Christopher Eccleston left Heroes for this?

His stint on Heroes was only temporary anyway, although he might return.

I know. But saying that isn't as fun as what I said. For example...

"He did this movie in between other things one of them being a temporary stint on Heroes?"

I'm kind of getting these "YOUR THE ONE" fantasy movies... Seriously you can make a movie about wizards and magic without the now much cliche plot of "YOUR THE ONE!!!"

looks like shyte to me :(

Hell the Spider-Wick Chronicles looked better than this Crap.

I hate these stupid sci-fi/fantasy movies about young kids being the last great whatever. It's this whole sub-genre that just bugs the hell out of me.

Its getting really annoying, weird that the "sub-genre" started with Star Wars. This movie reminds me of pagemaster for ****s sakes.

I wouldn't say Star Wars started it. Especially not the originals. But there's always been movies about kids having this great adventure and getting powers or something. It's odd.

Fox? AGH, HELL!

Walden Media? :woot:

I love alot of their films, haven't seen Hoot or How to eat Fried Worms- those stories really didn't interest me. But, every other film of theirs that I have seen, except for 'ATWI80D', I have loved. Narnia is actually my second favorite fantasy movie in the 2000 decade, second only to LOTR series. so this will probably turn out good as well.

I'm just hoping Walden can control Fox's demonic editors! :cmad:

BTW, here's the international trailer which has a more serious tone than the one for the US:

I just can't believe it's coming out in October and not November.

that story device is much, much older than star wars. it's in the bible for god sake.

looks like a bunch of random **** happening in every scene....

Saw the trailer with Harry Potter. This movie looks like someone smeared s**t all over the screen.

I'm waiting for the "Golden Compass".

Yeah it does look like eragon. Well I'll still see it. My fave actor from doctor who is in it.

Eragon is the first thing that comes to mind looking at this. So yeah I agree.
