Its not thta it got old, it has just lost its edge......I cans till watch the old episodes and laugh out loud fairly often, which is a HUGE rarity with new ones

According to the credits on IMDB.COM, Kelsey Grammer returns to voice Sideshow Bob and Joe Mantegna is back as Fat Tony.

Too bad this movie was not made a decade ago. We could have had an appearance by both Troy McClure and Lionel Hutz.

i now have a feeling that this movie will bomb. its just a feeling now.

what is the budget?

this might bomb, yeah. I dont care about the simpsons anymore. this movie came way too late. Unless it's a masterpiece, it's just not going to be the biggest hit.

I'd be stunned if it bombed, no matter what the quality is. It's The Simpsons, the show is a cultural phenomenon and people have been waiting for this movie for at least a decade.

sooo who all has gone to the 7-11 Kwik E mart? I went to one yesterday and it was pretty cool. I had a Squishee and a donut.

I don't know about y'all but...when I saw TF, The Simpsons trailer, aside from the JJ Abrams movie, got the biggest reaction.

The movie will be a success...but blockbuster status? I don't know...

I saw a trailer yesterday with Shrek 3. It had Ralph stood in the Fox symbol shouting out the tune, which was was probably the funniest thing I saw including during shrek, nearly the whole cinema burst out laughing (it just came out of no-where though which probably contributed to the hilarity of it)

I ain't been that interested in new Simpsons stuff for the last few years now but the movie does actually look pretty good imo and I would be quite surprised if it wasn't some sort of semi major hit at least.. I mean, it's the simpsons.

that and the Spider pig part was awesome and had me laughing

This doesn't sound so good, just another TV episode in theatrical format :(

So in other words nothing new.

the simpsons have done everything there is to do, they cant really do anthing new now, just take something old and make it better

I think the Spider-Pig bit was funny because of the way Marge was just giving him that dead stare when she sees why the footprints are on the ceiling.

From what I've gathered I'd guess the plot of coarse has something to do with Homer messing up but I think Global Warming will be the villian. Because when Homer and Bart are jumping the canyon above them it looks as if the ozone is cracked all over the place and the scene where the army/police as shooting was appears to be a slow moving glacier inching toward them.

I say this movie will open with over 50 million atleast possibly 75 million opening weekend. Just depends how many old fans give it a chance opening weekend. I will bet they'll make budget back in opening weekend

I can't believe this movie is almost here. I'm super excited and I just can't see myself not loving this movie. It seems like Bart and Homer will finally jump Springfield Gorge, and the movie just looks epic. I still wish Hank Scorpio was in it, but I can't get everything I want. I have faith in Groening and the rest of his writing staff to deliver a great and funny film.

when i heard the movie was being made it had no impression on me. i was like meh. but after seeing the trailers (spider-pig, Ralph) and the great promotion spreading around 7-11's im pumped and ready for it

I hope not. :csad: I'm getting tired of everyone now days jumping on the global warming bandwagon. If that is the case, im sure Lisa will have her typical goody two shoes speech, for the movie it will be about conserving energy and blah blah blah. People need to realize it's not us that is bringing about global warming. The earth goes in cycles! It would happen anyway, call it Mother Earth cleaning house.

"Spider-Pig! Spider-Pig! Does whatever a Spider-Pig does!" lmfao!
