Comedy The Sims

At the end of the movie, they'll have a pool party and die when the ladder magically disappears.

God damn I loved when you burnt one of the child sims in a fire and than got the mother to sweep him up while she was crying...hilarious

The only way it would work is if they do it in a spoof movie type of way, where people get injured or die at random, but in a comedic fashion.

They should have that in the film.

Also have it all in SIMS with subtitles- they're language is hysterical.

Also- someone is trapped in a room. They walk through and then suddenly they are trapped in a room with no way out! I loved doing that. :woot: I know, we're sadistic- but it was really funny.

Alli gotta say is why?

That game was boring as hell.

You obviously weren't playing it right.

Y'know the "Newbie" family? I stole the wife away from the bald guy, then killed him by making him play with fireworks in a doorless room filled with potted plants. My house also had a dungeon for my "guests".

Exactly only us sadistic players loved it. That game was funny as hell!

 Im shocked at all the hatred toward the Sims....The Sims 2 has to be my favorite game and is very addicting.
This is kind of a strange idea but I can see it being a good comedy

Btw I love Sim language, its really funny. In the game I like making my Sims miserable. I have them starve to death, get eaten alive by flies, have a satalite fall on them, commit polygamy, and have them see ghost all the time...its fun. I also make sim lesbian families....okay Im done now.

The Sims
How are they going to translate the practically un-filmable video game into a feature-length movie?

"The Sims, as you know, you can control your imaginary world, right? And our movie, a young man, a 16 year old kid of a 14 year old kid and his friend get their hands on this thing called the Sims Infinity Pack, right, which kind of this very strange video game store which was there just for that moment, and seemingly wasn't all that.

But what they realize is that they can scan their world in, because this is the most life like, real Sims game ever. And as they are playing this they are all of a sudden realizing is what they are playing on the game is having an effect on the real world. So in effect, through the game, they are able to control their world. It's wish fulfillment, and obviously it turns against them."

There will also be somebody coming out of the game into the real world. The tone will be "Amblin-esque, really fun adventure movie" and the protagonists will be around 15-years-old.

I love the Sims games and at first I was liek "What the hell is the movie gonna be?" but then reading some of the comments, I can sort of see it as a Truman Show, but I think the thing that would make it great is if they incorporate the whole Death thing and ghosts, etc. But what I think would make the movie is involvement of the random cheat codes for the games.

Is that legit? If so, I like DOG LIPS' idea better :csad:

bwahahahaha :woot:.... only 20th century Fox... :(

Alright now they're going a little too far.

Do that and a score in the same vein as Sims 1 buy mode and I'll be there.

But I'm sure they're cowards.
With Margot producing I have a little bit of faith, maybe not about the Simlish but I'd love it if it's a cast full of A-listers speaking gibberish for the whole movie.

I can actually see this working very well, depending.

Perhaps explore the we’re all living in a simulation theory. ‘Free Guy’ delved into this to a degree and I can see a similar idea working here.

That’s to say I can imagine it as a film with something to say about the world we live in akin to ‘Barbie.’ That might be what drew Margot to it too.

Considering her first look deal with WB, it's probably theirs if they really want it.
