While sifting through articles on one of my favourite websites; Cracked, I came across this article about how certain movies and TV shows share universes. It has examples like how Tarantino movies are all set in the same universe or how the Lone Ranger is the Green Hornet's uncle, stuff like that, but the most interesting example is one where, through use of a single character in both shows, the X-Files and The Wire share the same fictional universe.

The article then links to another one, written by the Dwayne McDuffie (R.I.P.):

This article, goes further on this concept by using the six degrees of separation to connect many television shows together. Similar to the theory that Kevin Bacon can eventually be connected to everyone in Hollywood, the article claims that the show St. Elsewhere can be connected to every other TV show in existence, effectively making them set in the same universe.

I was so fascinated by all this, so I thought that I would share, and see if there are any crazy television connections you guys know about through six degrees.
