"Choose Wisely"

Unbreakable

I think both films were Shyamalan's best to date, and were imaginative, but something about Unbreakable really drew me and the twist was something I never saw coming at the end. I still wish they would have made that Unbreakable 2 that was rumored a few years back...

easily easily unbreakable....

probably one of the only real roles where samuel l doesn't play samuel l and does a good job of it...

they should work in hancock and the unbreakable character into heroes or into a single movie universe...

Unbreakable.

It's my favorite Shyamalan film. It's superbly acted and directed.

The Sixth Sense is my favorite one... hands down one of the most surprising movie endings, i never saw it coming :woot:

6th sense. M. Night's shtick was new then. he hadn't reused the shock moment to the point of fatigue yet.
that and unbreakable was really dull

Really? I didn't find unbreakable as reliant on a shock ending as the sixth sense.

The alternate ending is awesome

for me, The Sixth Sense was predictable early on. though, Unbreakable was too, but it was so superbly acted.

Unbreakable was never well received by the general public because it didn't have the big time twist ending that everyone was expecting. It was just like... "That's it???" Just left audiences hanging... and if you weren't going to have a twist why reveal it only at the end? They should have had scenes throughout... or flashbacks at least at the end of SLJ's character comitting the mass murders... unfortunately the movie left no room for a sequel. I just thought flashbacks at the end would have done a lot more justice to the film... but Night rushed it a bit there.

Quit posting polls here...we have a new forum for this.

Unbreakable is Shyamalan's best directorial effort. It's crazy to see just how far down the awesome scale he has managed to fall.

It is alright if you made a seperate thread for each movie and we discussed them that way. But making vs. threads and best/worst threads are moot as the amount someone can make is limitless and it was that way. A movie news thread would go to page 3 in 2 days because everyone loved to make Dath Maul vs. Darth Vader threads. It's no big deal if there are a few but it won't stay that way.

WTF!? Sixith Sense all the way! I can't beleive Unbreakable is winning...only SHH :o

sixth sense... unbreakable was a good idea, but it was just so damn boring.

and honestly, the twist in the sixth sense was just like.... wow. that movie was top notch.

love both but Unbreakable is just so awesome.

Definately Unbreakable, i loved SS, but Unbreakable i couldnt take my eyes off the first time i saw it and it was superb, It definately stands up to repeat viewings also, Shyamalan's best.
