That is so cool. That guy is a monster.
I'm not big on sports, so why was calling him Chris such an insult? Was it just the fact that he was disrespecting him? Either way that was awesome.
is it bad i have no idea who he was
COME BACK SCOTT!!!!! Screw retirement!
I'm here for the people
Urlacher's got nothing on this guy.......
Those NFL films with him those eyes going back and forth......... steam coming from his nostils in the cold air...........
Rome achieved notoriety for an incident on his ESPN2 show in 1994 when he repeatedly called NFL quarterback Jim Everett "Chris" (after Chris Evert, the female tennis player), from the argument that Everett shied away from getting hit. Appearing as a guest on the show, Everett warned Rome about repeating the insult and then challenged Rome to do so. When Rome did, Everett physically attacked Rome while still on the air, overturning a table and knocking Rome to the floor. Today, Rome rarely speaks about "The Incident", which it is now simply referred to as; however, on his radio show he occasionally hangs up on callers who refer to a male sports figure by a female name, with the tongue-in-cheek comment that "I don't stand for that sort of thing around here."
I don't know what's more remarkable about that Riley/Jackson photo: Riley's goofy face, the striped socks everywhere, or Walt Frazier's incredible sideburns.
It's a combination of the three
Because I've had enough of non-stop US examples.
Vinnie Jones. Ever the good natured sportsman:
When he did that I was thinking to myself that would be scary as **** to see that coming at you
That is unspeakably funny. t:
Jim Everett was an NFL quarterback. When he was with the Rams (I think) he became the laughing stock in a game where he was sacked a few times early in a game and then later when he was being rushed, he dove to the ground in terror.
Chris Everett was a female tennis player.
Rome used to call Jim Everett Chris Everett to mock him for his cowardness. That's why he seized being Jim and became Chris.
one of my 2 fave WRs in the league, the other being steve smith
Marvin Harrison is a showoff!!!
one of the main reasons i like him is the fact that he lets his game speak for himself
those are the players i really admire, not the ones who have to remind you how good they are, or think they are.
The one picture is from practice. That where he is a showoff. The other two are spectacular catches that he makes.
