The Starwars comic book figures!

it would be silly not to.....they probably don't want two Star Wars lines going at once but they won't stop the three inchers cause die hards would pitch a fit if they stopped getting 3 inchers for Rammu DinShaba was made.....he was sitting in the back of a wrecked ship in one of the novels set 50 years alter and invoving none of the main characters....he's a salvager class eben.

You never know....Just give us one wave and see how it goes....and bust out all heavy hitters in that one wave to ensure sales.

Wave 1: Return of the Jedi

Jedi Luke (In black w/green Saber)
Darth Vader
Han Solo (Give him the classic vest look though I don't recall him wearing it in ROTJ)
Boba Fett
Storm Trooper (Varient Scout Trooper)
Slave Leia....or Leia as Boushe

Rancor BAF......that there is like printing out money.....there is no way these wouldn't sell.

Wave 2: Phantom Menace

Darth Maul
Battle Droid (2 or 3 pack)
Qui Gon Jinn
Obi Wan Kenobi
R2-D2 (Pack him with the wires C-3PO or little Kid Anakin)
Queen Amidala

BAF Jabba the Hut

Wave 3: A New Hope/Empire

Classic Leia
Chewbaca
Palpatine
Lando
C-3P0
Pilot Luke

Put Yoda in with one of them...3P0 prolly due to plastic costs

BAF Wampa.

I dunno....I think this is pure gold.
I'd buy those for sure. But it's missing some characters. Wave 3 is missing Grand Moff Tarkin. Also TIE fighter pilot. The wave 2 Obi Wan shouls be called Padawan Obi Wan. Wave 1 should also have Imperial officer in ground combat gear (variant fleet uniform).

Wave 4 Attack of the clones and Revenge of the sith.
Padawan Anakin Skywalker
Jedi Master Obi Wan Kenobi (the variants would be EP.2 and EP.3 heads)
Jedi knight Anakin Skywalker
Jango Fett (variant w/o helemt)
Clone Trooper in ep 2 armour (variants wold have the different rank colours on them)
Clone Trooper in ep 3 armour
Clone Commander Colee (variant w/o helmet)
Count Dooku

BAF General Grevious.

INstead of varients just give them removable helmets...the 3 inchers have them..

And for the Varient Obi Wan give him an Elec Guiness Head as the varient.

The only problem with removable helmets is that either the helmet or the head is a bit out of purportion, in the 3" ones this is a rampant problem. For Obi Wan give him 2 variants, EP.3 head is standard, EP.4 is the common variant, and EP.2 mullet head is the rare one. And I forgot to add Jedi knight Anakin with sith eyes as a variant.

Yeah, the head on ML3 Magneto was small as well, and the new Xorn looks to be as well....

For 3" SW figs it's a bit more pronounced. But my frame of reference is the older ones form the 80's. For 8" my reference is my Carnage and Vemon figs with remouvable symbiote heads. Carnage head is normal compared to other figs from the TV series line, but the Cletus head is a pin head. Venom is the opposite. Eddie Brock is fine, but Venom looks like Ed is wearing a toilet he painted black on his head.

well that was also a while back.....figs have come a long way since then

I don't think they have very much. Still a bunch of plastic crap.

Let's not ruin this thread too....the fact is that yes Bat, figs are different now, than they were ten years a go....By a Frikking lot.

Some guy came in and posted a giat advertizement......about 30 times

oh, i got banned with my first user name for doing something like that. you'd think people would be interested in getting larger thingies. but i guess not.

just a joke.

everybody wants bigger thingies.

He wants them smaller so his batman figures can cup them nicely.

I still have yet to see them anywhere else than at Walmart. I'll have to get the Vader one, it looks cool. I love the comic book coloring.

It's just different.

And to those of you supporting the idea of a Starwars Legends line, I agree, I've thought of that so many times.

But I think they'll always have the smaller ones. Just tradition I guess.

I was surprised to see the animated line. I was like whoa, they actually did something different.

I was a tad ticked off that they didn't do more, 'cause when they came out with some other Jedis, they didn't make them look animated they made them look like the movie figs, and just said on the box they were in the cartoon. Really lame.

Also there's a box set out now when Padme was on that cold planet in the cartoon, and they made it look like the movie figures, real cheap I say.

I actually liked that we got that Big fuzzy guy from the Cartoon in a realistic fig....it was a nice touch
