I want to see Lana Lang in a sequel.

I Agree, Clark Kent is who he is...Superman is what he does.

That may be true in a sense. But in SR, Clark in Metropolis if a facade while he shows his true self as Superman.

But that doesn't affect his having a relationship with Lana. In the movies, Clark didn't really cover up who he really was while living in Smallville, he just didn't use his powers in front of people. According to Singer, there are three sides to Clark, but there's no reason that the real Clark(Kal-El and farmboy) can't still be interested in Lana.

Not even a cameo?

No, because I don't want to see another Superman III. I mean that literally and figuratively. I do not want to see a triangle in a Superman movie, especially when there is a super child involved from Lois. If they were bringing Lana in and there was no child, I wouldn't be so opposed. However, Lana is traditionally the rival interest and psuedo Lois, so NO Cameo unless she is there to present what a happy family can look like.
