Iron Man The Suit!!!!! [Mark III-Red and Gold Awesomeness]

I was never a huge fan of Iron Man but hearing about all this goodness and seeing the wonders they've done with the armor....I'm excited. This looks good.

The armor looks so even better in hi-res. Looking forward to see how it looks in motion on the big screen.

I'm really hoping they have an Armoury of all the different types of Armour after seeing these pics.

Ye definitely, I hope by the end of the film the armoury will have a fine selectionof suits, including the war machine

why do i have a feeling that we will get better flying shots than in SR? :o

hey c'mon man, the flying shots in SR were pretty good. its looking at the godawful suit that ruins the whole experience.

I thought the suit was pretty acceptable, the smaller S didn't bother me too much. I agree that some of the flying looked damn good, mainly when it was a cgi routh. The shots of routh look dodgy, especially when he flies into the camera on the final shot, it looked like Reeves flying

Man, talk about perfection. It is freakin' unbelievable!

Ironman was always one of those heroes that I loved the idea and concept of, but never got that into the actual stories. Seeing all this promising news is great. I'm incredibly pumped. I remember when Tom Cruise was the only thing in the rumor mill. Blech.

You know what? I reckon I'm anticipating this more than past Marvel movies. I know it's early, but the set footage and pics I've seen so far look really, really promising.

I don't know why, but 99% of the time, Marvel nails the look of the their onscreen heroes.

it helps if the comic book company is the one producing the comic book movies.

unlike DC grumble, grumble

I still can't get over how awesome that suit looks. If the movie itself is half as awesome as the suit, I'll be a happy geek.

Wow, it looks exactly like the comics.

I have a feeling this is gonna be good.

I think the term 'adapted for film' doesnt apply to this. This really is gonna be a live action comic flic.

The suit looks amazing! Ripped straight out of the comics

I absolutely love the look of IM's armor. I hope this film turns out to be great.

This suit is absurdly awesome....I have to admit i'm not the biggest Iron Man fan, I liked him and have a small collection of IM/Avengers, but I never really got into the stories too much....This movie is going to kick serious a$$, I don't know what I'm looking forward to more now, this or TDK. Thank you Favreau

im loving the suit i really never expected it to turn out very well BUT talk about being proven wrong. sofar its appearing to be AMAZING! great job on this suit is something i think everyone will say when the movie finally comes out

come to think of it.. that design would make a nice action figure..

It may just be me but doesn't it look like his lower back is gold? I only ask because the abdomen is red in the Mark III photo and I think it'd be kind of odd for the same part of the suit to be red on one side and gold on the other. Don't get me wrong cause I like the suit I'm just wondering if there is a chance I'm going blind.

It makes me sick how perfect that suit is. And I don't mean bad sick. I mean good sick. Good sick like the stomachache you get after enjoying a big fat Chipotle burrito.

You do realize that DC is a subsidiary of Warner Bros, and WB does all of the DC movies? Also, this is the first time Marvel has produced their own self-financed movie.

Iron Man is the first Marvel movie being made in-house.
i know that. but Marvel can select which company they work with since they started the X-men movies. DC has to work with WB, like it or not. they dont have the leverage Marvel has when it comes to controlling their franchises.
