So, I think most know of the Thanos Theory and maybe this has already been answered definitively but I’m not sure it has. As some may know, the housing device of the stone’s first letters seem to spell out THANOS.
T - Tesseract (Space Stone)
H -
A - Aether (Reality Stone)
N - Necklace (Time Stone)
O - Orb (Power Stone)
S - Scepter (Mind Stone)
Before INFINITY WAR it was often theorized that H was for anyone from Heimdall to Him (Adam Warlock) and then we saw the Soul Stone emerge from the murder of Gamora.
Square Peg-Round Hole theories then became anything from Heart to Herb Schmidt to Hydra to “Hurl Your Daughter Off a Cliff”.
None of these seem right or as clean as the others.
I also don’t buy that the whole thing means nothing and it was coincidence. You don’t mathematically get to four or five correct without it being on purpose.
It dawned on me that maybe we have it all wrong. I’m not sure I’ve seen THIS theory and wondered what you all thought.
What if S wasn’t for Scepter as we all quickly assumed and it was matter of fairly for “Soul”. A soul for a soul and all that, as we learn again in ENDGAME.
And maybe H was Head as the Mind Stone was eventually housed and then pulled from the Head of Vision.
Apologies if this has already been decided but this whole theory seems to have been abandoned by the theorists.
