It was a FUN name for a FUN vehicle in a FUN comic when comics could still be FUN. Lee & kirby were entertaining children in 1962 and probably never imagined one day a bunch of teenagers and nerdly men would be wasting hours of their lives each day debating such minutae as if it were in any way serious.
Other than the Quinjet & the Blackbird, what superhero vehicles don't have "stupid" names?

Speaking of cloudy veils being lifted, how many of you have watched the 720 or 1080 HD versions of the trailer? It's amazing how clear it is, isn't it? The only problem is that you can tell where the makeup people didn't do a good enough job, and the SFX pop out a little more from the background.
