I'd agree if Ghost Rider didn't weild a shotgun that could blast through anything and a body that can take being mowed by a mac truck.

As for Juggernaut, well, he proved pretty unstoppable in my opinion so I think even Hulk would have trouble taking him down, far less for The Thing. Guy made Wolverine look like a frisby.

he er.... took strikes from the son of the devil?

I'm not sure about you but that ranks fairly highly in my durabilty books, far higher than any strikes ben took, or anyone else from that matter.

there's no one ben's faced that is as powerful as mephisto, even as part of a team, let alone on his own.

let's for argument's sake say Ben was unable to hurt doom with all his attacks and johnny with ben's strength was unable to hurt a cosmic doom (batter around, yes, hurt no), I would at the very least describe ghost rider as being as durable as doom since he is the 'devil's agent', which gives the impression that ben can't hurt him.

This fight is still invalid because ben's not evil which means the rider reverts back to normal form IF they are the last two left and it nullifies the fight. Whether at nighttime or daytime.

Ghost Rider really reverts back to normal if he's in the presence of someone good? Why didn't he revert when he tried to reach Roxane?

he reverts without the presence of evil...

if jugs and symbiote are down, then there is no evil around...

Ah...huh...but he was able to just go cruising around all night. I think you're confusing movie Ghost Rider with comic book Ghost Rider. In the movie he's closer to a werewolf where it's the darkness that transforms him. Even during the day he has to be in the dark to be Ghost Rider. The presence of evil seems to have no bearing or else his fight with Blackheart would have been much, much easier.

the former ghost rider clearly says, in the dark around the presence of evil, the rider comes out, or something along those lines.

so there are two criteria

dark and evil.

you can't argue with what is said in the film.

Yeah well I guess there's plenty enough evil around for him to go cruising so I'm sure there's enough for a fight with Ben Grimm. :oldrazz:

This was before he was able to get control of the "spirit within him" though, towards the end of the movie, he was able to change at random during the night. I'm pretty sure there was no evil around when him and Carter Slade rode through the desert.

I'm beginning to wonder if anybody here have watched these movies besides Spider-man. I mean the guy would break his fist on both The Thing and Juggernaut and Ghost Rider would flat out fry his ass! I don't even put Spider-man into the equation. Symbiote or not.

I feel the same, Symbiote Spidey has power, but he is nothing compared to the others.
