They took Tygra to a dark place this episode.

Lion-o made a crack about getting Cheetarah and Tygra just stares and mumbles to himself, "you don't deserve her like a you don't deserve that sword" or something like that.

Kinda weird since he's always been a competitive yet noble character.

Awesome reboot, better than i expected and almost as good as He-Man 200x as i grew up on the original Thundercats show since i was 4 in the mid-80s as i had the merchandise, the burger king stuff and that sort of thing. I even had a blast rewatching the show when the aired reruns of it on Toonami when i was 16 as they had cool anime and Thundercats was one of them.

Did you know the original show as done by Rankin-Bass (Guys who did Rudolph, holiday specials, The Hobbit and The Last Unicorn) and even by some Studio Ghibli animation directors who did Castle in The Sky, Grave of the Fireflies, Howl's Moving Castle and Totoro?

I'd like to see Yoshiaka Kawajari of Ninja Scroll/Wicked City/Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust fame to do an episode since he is a unique anime director and designer.

I always thought of the berbils as better versions of The Ewoks but how in the hell can they digest if they are robotic?

Cheetara is still queen of all cartoon catgirls by all measures even in this version and i always adored her for 25 years since i was 4 as it was her with Cleo from Heathcliff and M'ress from the Star Trek cartoon that i had a fascination with catgirls.

But yeah, I love Cheetara in this show.

New toys shown for this series. Cheetara and Tygra will get 6" deluxe figures next. The Classics series will be relaunched in 6" style starting with Mumm-Ra and Lion-O. So they are discontinuing the 8" style
