Panthro could always get new arms from the Berbils. They are his bros now.

Quite funny that the betrayal turned out to be Tygra getting with Cheetara, so not like a direct betrayal.

Does anyone think maybe Cheetara was aware of Lion-O's affections for her and maybe exploited that to get Lion-O to do what she wanted? Or was it just like a big sister thing for her?

Hopefully Lion-O can get over Cheetara and won't get in the way of her and Tygra. It's got to sting knowing that even though you are the chosen lord and all, but you still can't beat your brother in a fight or with the women. Just seems like there are a lot of women on Third Earth that Lion-O could hook up with . . . well if the warrior maidens can show up and they can mate with cats. My idea is that Lion-O should meet up with the warrior maiden chick that is able to use sight beyond sight.

I always expected Tygra to get the girl, so that wasn't a surprise to me. Panthro losing his arms was The berbils I'm sure will make him an awesome new pair. Also Pumyra is supposed to be showing up soon, so I'm sure Lion O will have another go at trying to get the girl.

I think it was a good twist. My hope is that Lion-O moves passed this and doesn't let this get in the way of the mission. He said let the best cat win, and well Cheetara chose Tygra. So he has to let it go. Plenty of other hot babes in Third Earth he can meet up with.

jaymes_e06, yeah I'm not crazy about the 4" style figures either. Apparently though they are going to fix some of the 6" complaints for the later releases. We shall see.

Eklypze, I haven't heard any news about a renewal. I think Cartoon Network is now going to show this as the season finale, and the next 13 will be the "second" season. I haven't heard about anything other than the initial 26 episodes ordered. Though I really hope it does get renewed or at least another 13.

LOL. I imagine the Berbils are going to set Panthro up since they are already bionic sentients.

I loved Panthro in this episode. Grune messed Panthro up so much he was willing to lose BOTH his arms to get his payback. Normally the hero when faced with saving the villain or killing him in that type of situation will still try and save the villain from death. Instead Panthro willingly got both his arms chopped off just to get rid of Grune for good. Panthro's reaction says it all, "Worth it."

I also like that Panthro isn't even really upset about it, all he does is half-heartedly reminisce about missing the scars on his arms.

Awww man I didn't realise that was the finale. No wonder why it was so awesome. The animation was brilliant, the fight sequences amazing and I love that mumm-ra is more of a threat in this version.

Panthro losing his arms was a real surprise for me too and I also loved that it didnt really seem to phase him. Really hope this gets the renewal, it deserves it.

I wonder what the next 13 episode arc will be about. But they will probably get a second season.

Primal Slayer, Lion-O now has two power stones, so they will be looking for the remaining ones while dealing with Mumm-Ra who is also wanting them. Whoever holds the most will tip the scales in their conflict.

One also figures that Cats will encounter the Jackal and Vulture races as Jacklaman and Vulturman were seen in the designs for the series. I forget about Monkian, but he wouldn't surprise me either.

That was a great episode. It was good to see the elephant people fight. I love those huge mechs the lizards have. I wish we had gotten a glimpse of Jaga.

That was crazy what happened to Panthro. Wow! But I knew he would get mechanical arms but for him to lose the arms was still shocking.

I liked how the bell tolled when Lion-O saw Tygra and Cheetara together.

I thought Lion-O only had one stone in the gauntlet? Are you counting the Eye of Thundera as a power stone?

The look on Lion-Os face when he saw Tygra and Cheetara making out was hilarious. He was really immature about the entire situation to begin with. I guess it also makes sense that the guy who actually cared about Cheetara before she grew a nice set of hooters would be the one to end up with her.

Lets be honest the attraction that Lion-O had for Cheetara was more than likely superficial.

Either way a good ending and I'm glad they went that route. Before this episode I thought they would just leave that topic in the air until season 2 but it was nice seeing it resolved as the season finale.

Well their big game in the beginning of the series was an obstacle course that was basically a giant scratching post with a bell on top of it.

Also they'd lick to clean themselves probably not to "make out" .

I like that we can see now what two stones does with the sword and claw gauntlet. Remember with three stones, Lion-O can get mecha-type armor.

the arms on that panthro toy look just like lion-o 's clawshield. how exactly does lion-o's clawshield work? where are his fingers when he shoots out his metal fingers. in the old show it was 3 claw type arrow tips that shot from the top of his hand. in this one they are his fingers.
