Oregon has hired USF HC Willie Taggart to be their new HC. Not exactly the most flashy or big-name hire but it seems to be a solid one, based on who he has endorsing him (Tony Dungy, Jim Harbaugh, and Andrew Luck's dad.) There's talent on Oregon's roster but it'll be about a 2-3 year rebuild (if he hires a good staff and recruits well) to get Taggart's system in place and possibly contend for the conference title again.

All joking aside, he is probably going to have to be better in the Championship game, which I would expect. Feels like easily the most talented QB Saban has had at Bama. But you also can't start that many drives in enemy territory and come up with no points so often.

Now Clemson have their own missed field goal. Still up 17-0, but another game that feels quite one sided, but the score is still in reach in the third.

That was a terrible way to end a pretty good season. UK forgot to show up until the 4th quarter, but I'll give GT credit for winning the line of scrimmage. They were all over Johnson until the game was all but out of reach.

On the flip side, the game was really chippy at times. Mark Stoops was angry at multiple cut blocks and vented his frustration at halftime. I love this guy's passion and look forward to 2017.

At half Coach Stoops kicked the ref locker room door. Knocked over a Gatorade cooler. They had to pull him back to the locker room.

Penn State/USC was AWESOME... not sure about the play calls on Penn States side there at the end, needed to get into field goal range, they were close to mid field... had 2 time outs, and kept going for the deep ball? SMH.

Also... I am still waiting for Ohio State to score.
