Season 5 of the best show on TV starts this Thursday after Spike's Ultimate Fight Night Live. This season will have a 16 man Lightweight (155lbs.) tournament.

This is going to be the best season yet.

I'll be there. I'm a MMA guy myself (Muay Thai and BJJ). I found last season to be a little dull compared to the previous seasons, but it'll interesting to see BJ Penn and Polver (Spelling?) in the coaches seat this season.

yea I didnt like last season very much. I'm excited to see Nick Diaz's brother this season. I think I heard that Karo Parisyan's cousin might be there too, but I dont know for sure.

Yeah last season sucked big time. But this season is going to kick ass, I can already tell.

Any one else looking forward to the Diego Sanchez vs Josh Coschek(?) fight on saturday? I don't have PPV but i can't wait to hear who wins that one.

I can't wait for this tonight.
I didn't watch TUF 4, and it kinda sucked balls when I did.

I guess nobody is watching it.
I am.

I sure am. I felt sorry for Pulver when BJ pulled that 'raise your hand' bull**** when they were picking teams. I lost a little respect for BJ at that point...

Yeah, that was seriously childish and stupid.
It even got to the point where Dana was like "WTF? Shut the f*** up."

I didn't expect him to lose that one.
That just shows that skill > look.

Yeah, he LOOKED meaner during their little stare down when he got picked, plus he looked more in shape that the other guy but like you said Skill > Looks.

That other guy was indeed a cocky, geeky looking mutha****er. But damn, he sure practiced what he preached!

Dana telling Jens and BJ to shut the ****up was funny. This first episode is already better than all of season 4 was.

But here are the results.

Cole Miller Def. Allen Berube via Triangle Choke in Rd. 1.

Episode 2.

Gabe Rudiger and Matt Wiman continue to argue and bicker with eachother upsetting the rest of Team Penn. Rob Emerson in his boredom wrote the words "Suck it Team Pulver" on one of the walls of the house and Nate Diaz gets totally pissed off and wants to fight right then and there. The fighters end up calming down and there isn't a fight.

The fight was entertaining with Manny landing a big punch early in the round and dropping Noah. Manny pretty much controlled the fight the whole time.

Manuel Gamburyan def Noah Thomas Via Submission due to a Kimura in the first round.

Gabe seems to be the ***** of the season. Can't wait to see him fight...if he can.

Glad BJ Penns team is loosing 3-0 after that bs he pulled in the season premier during the team picks, i guess he's eating his ****ing words now!

Virtually everyone on this show is a total *****e.

He told everyone to put their hands up if they didn't want anything to do with Jens and only wanted to be on his team. 9 guys stuck up their hands and he wanted to just take them and Jens said ya but Dana told that they only got one pick at a time..it was kinda funny but it was a dick move by Penn.

I fell asleep for the last ep. Who won the fight between the asian guy and the other guy?

And what's up with that white slob collecting in the corner of the Asian guys mouth while he talks..does he have ****ing rabies?

O.K, i finally saw a re-run last night, and man did that Asian guy make a fool of himself.

The whole speech he gave on the way over there about "die like a man, be a man, etc,etc..." sounded good...but he the cried like a girl after he lost the fight.

Like BJ said, he didn't wanna listen to his corner, so he has nobody to blame but himself.

So Team Pulver is like 5 or 4 to 0 now? Next week with big Cory fighting, i know he's gonna crush whoever he fights. Team Pulver is on a roll. I guess BJ and all those who wanted to be on his team from day one, feel like asses now!

I agree, I have some sympathy for the guys who give everything they got in there then lose and come out cryin' at least they tried. Wang didn't do anything, you could Penn screaming the whole match to take him down and he just stood there, plus the guy told Penn before he would listen and take him down. He's got no one to blame but himself.

The next match is going to be Gabe vs Corey, that is provided Gabe can lose the 20 pounds or so that he needs to. I don't think it's relevant Corey seems to have a really strong drive to win this and Gabe doesn't seem to be working really hard, course that could be editing, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Corey come out on top.

I'm so glad that asian dude got beat down. He said he was gonna take him to the ground and such...his corner was screaming yelling take him to the mat.The clown wouldnt listen..and he got beat.Do what your corner tells you idiot

Hope Corey whips Gabes ass!
