Watching In the Heart of the Sea right now, and good lord, Hemsworth is terrible in this so far. The accent is all over the place and his inflections are so flat and monotone. It's like he's still talking like Thor, but while fighting a sad Boston-ish accent.

I honestly thought it would be more watchable than this. It's reputation is as a financial flop not a creative disaster as far as I knew. But damn, this is kinda painful. The effects/cinematography too. I'm gonna finish it, but I feel like I'll need to watch Master & Commander afterward to remind myself what water actually looks like.
