That was definitely one of the best ones I've read here as well! Very good stuff.

Yeah, the whole thing was great. It was a three issue arc, which back then was pretty serious.

Superman ends up constantly pushing forward through time because a cosmic villian is stopping him from returning home. It shows Luthor dying in the future, infusing his essence with this machine... Superman is eventually around a million years old, and he gets dragged by this cosmic event, along with Luthor's device, through time. He literally loops through time and ends up right back where he was at the beginning of the three issue arc. He lives through his childhood, his Superboy years, but really quickly. And then right back where he was. I personally loved it. :)

The Sprectre vs. Azmodus, an extremely powerful demon. And when you can hold a sun in your hand, you know you're strong, as those things are freakin' heavy.

The Spectre vs. Shathan, an even more powerful demon who's Azmodus's boss and, basically, the Anti-Spectre. One of the most insane comic book covers ever that could come only from Pre-Crisis DC, and a fight that's even more ridiculous than the Azmodus one. I don't think I've ever seen any fictional character get quite as big as the Spectre does here. Enjoy. :D

Expect some new material very soon.

Late 40's Superman going fast. This was 1947, I believe. Less than a decade after he had been introduced, and his power had already grown to this level.

In seconds, 1950's Superman constructs a massive underground city. Compare this to current Flash feats like him creating a bridge from nothing in no time flat.

Pre-Crisis, Superman's laundry could take atomic explosions without being wrinkled.

Superman creates a massive lifting device in seconds, casually lifts up all of Atlantis, and blows through the time barrier for the dozenth time in one comic. :D

Two heavy lifting feats. Nothing Post Crisis Superman couldn't do, but it's the ridiculous ease with which Pre-Crisis Superman moves these things that makes me take notice. He's got that massive ship with one freakin' hand.

Lex Luthor creates a device to communicate with beings through time... with spare radio parts.

Heh, thanks.

You know Luthor once made a time travel device using a steel rod and orange juice, among other things? :D
