it's good, I watched the Fubar segment, and the battle of the bulge segment last night. It's a good documentary. The footage is unbelievable. And the individual stories are interesting.
what I don't like, is the attention deficit disorder of the director. Although the segments follow a certain subject, it's very easy to get lost in tangents that are constantly being introduced, and subsequently dropped
again, it's really good, and has a lot of support from big name actors to pull off the narration.
Dog Fight still beats it for explaining things though, less social relevance, and more what actually happened. And what I love about Dog Fight is that it isn't just about airplanes. They did an hour this week on the Yamato, and a dog fight between ships. It's a brilliant show that literally explains what is happening on the battlefield. with planes, they computerize all the manoevers to show what what actually happened, and it what sort of time frame.
